That was the bad part that dropped this from a 5 star experience to a 3. As for the product, it is great a 5 star by itself in my opinion. Good quality and comfotable. I have not had a pair of boots in a while because the cheap ones are uncomfortable and the good ones are usually too expensive. But these were on sale so it hit the sweet spot for value. The reviews said to take a size smaller with these. Im usually a 9.5 and ordered a 9. That worked well for me especially with thicker boot socks. I live in Birkenstock and have a pair of chelsea style Birkenstock boots from years ago that just recently fell apart. They do not have anything like it available. I need a wide toe box. So I looked at reviews and tried these boots. I wear a size 40 or 9-9 1/2. I ordered the 6.5 and was worried they would be too small and that a 7 would be too big. I am SO happy with the 6.5. I can wiggle my toes and they fit great with socks on. Yes, they are tough right now to get on and off but I see that getting better over time. They are very sturdy construction and just really cute. Perfect for future traveling. Yeah!

The most important thing about ordering is the size chart. I normally wear a women’s size 8 and had to order a size 5. My new Voltan Black boots are a perfect fit. These are great if you need a wide toe box. Very comfortable with no break in needed. The openings where your feet enter the boot are a bit narrow at first but will eventually stretch. I have a small ankle and it took some patience to get them on the first time. When ordering also consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing. I wear mine with thick wool socks. Absolutely love these boots!

I bought the pair for mainly rainy/ snow days. These pairs have excellent traction and are cute to wear with casual attire. Think I've been wearing them for almost a year. The only downside is when I take them off. If I am in a rush, I tend to kick them off a few feet away. hehe. Great quality boots. I recommend wearing them with thick socks for cushioning though. I plan to purchase another style with a different color.
Amazing, they are so comfortable. I sometimes stand/walk for 10 hours straight for my job, and these are so much more comfortable than any other shoes I own. They really save my feet and knees. I was between sizes so I sized up and they fit best with thick socks on, which is nice for winter. I needed the wider toe box of the larger size; in my usual size I felt rubbing on the sides of my toes. I did put my own super feet insoles in these shoes to give me arch support.
I bought these boots for wearing in rural Italy in winter where the cobblestones are very slippery. Other supposedly nonslip shoes haven’t worked before. I haven’t been there yet with my Blundstones so I can’t comment on whether they are a success or not. They are comfortable to wear, although I wore them for a short walk around home without long socks as it was summer and they rubbed the back of my ankles raw. So I recommend only wearing with long socks. I also think they were slightly too big but I prefer that so I can wear thick socks in winter. Overall I’m happy so far but will have to leave the review of their traction until later.
Handsome but kinda dumb. Like the men in your life. Look great before you get to know them and then they reveal their true self. Honestly kind of uncomfortable (worn for three months, fairly consistently), the inside upper of the right boots rubs till raw, and they are surprisingly slick on wet surfaces. I am not finding the intrinsic value in the price paid here. Not worth it for the two finger loops with the branding. Over rated. Sorry
Buying this boot was very challenging. I bought these for my daughter for xmas and when she tried them on, they were enormous. We went back to the website and found the sizing was Australian, which was in a small note well below the line that read Shoe Size. The size 9.5 was sent back for a 6.5 as noted in the conversion table, but these were now too small. I have now reordered a 7.5 and are hoping for the best. Thank goodness I have a LL Bean credit card, otherwise I would be spending a fortune on shipping. The sizing should be more prominent in the description. Getting her foot into the narrow boot opening is also a major chore. I hope they stretch like other reviewers have noted.
After many years of hemming and hawing about buying a pair of Blundstones, I finally made the purchase this past November 2022. I had them for barely 6 months and there was a huge gouge in the front toe of the boot. I just wore them for regular use. I am a stay-at-home mom of 3 and I used them for walks, errands, etc. When I reached out to Blundstone to replace the warranty, they refused. I even had it escalated and they continued to refuse. For a boot of this price, I would expect that regular use of the boot would mean they would last for years. This is what I expected at paying this price. Very disappointed in the boot and the brand, for not standing behind their product.
I’ve had these boots for over a month now. I was super excited to purchase these boots. They are not great for walking and they are very uncomfortable driving. I really only just wear them outside for short periods of time. For the price point I expected them to be more comfortable for longer periods of time. They hurt the top of my foot. Yes, I’ve worn them plenty and we are well past the 4-day suggested break in period. I have to take them off when driving anywhere out of town.They are fine and I’m sure I’ll wear them a lot here and there but overall I am disappointed with these boots and will not be buying another pair in the future.
