If the warranty seems appealing to you, it is far from it. They do not honour their warranty on boots no matter the issue. They will give you an automated response saying it's because of wear and tear, and it's not a result of the construction, workmanship, or materials.I put a warranty claim in on a pair of kids boots that were around 4 years old, never abused, and always cleaned and taken care of. They have the stitching coming out on the back of the boot, and the leather is coming off. Obvious construction/workmanship issue. Yet, they told me it's not because of this, but rather it's wear and tear. I've had a pair of Blundstones myself for the last 7 years with much much more wear and tear, and this issue hasn't happened. If you think you'll be covered by ... MoreIf the warranty seems appealing to you, it is far from it. Buyer beware.

I have three pairs (black, rustic black and rustic brown). I had my first pair back in the 80s. Guess they were the ones where hydralisis affected the sole. Was on stage performing one night and when running off stage the soles literally disintegrated with pieces falling off everywhere. Blundstone was great. Cut off the tabs and elastics, sent them the photo evidence of the exploded soles and they replaced them no problem. Stand behind the product. And it's a great product. First Western boutique in St. John's also offers complimentary cleaning and treatment. Who else does that?!

I bought these to replace another pair of Blundstones that I wore for years. For this new pair, the quality has declined, and they are much tighter and make my feet hurt. I have worn them for a couple months now, hoping this would improve. They stretched out a bit, but not enough to fit both an insert and my foot. I can’t walk in them for more than an hour without my feet hurting, and I used to wear these all day every day for work. A huge disappointment as I’ve been wearing Blundstones for years. I returned them to REI to go up a size but unfortunately I can’t return them a second time, so these $200+ boots will sit in my closet and go to waste. Do not waste your money on these.

I normally buy Merrell Mocs, have for the past 15 years, they slip right on and are comfortable, I wear a size 14 shoe and I've been finding it increasingly difficult to find them in my size and I've been replacing them every year lately. Cut to buying these shoes thinking I'm getting quality shoes but all I got was disappointment. They fit very tight and even after a month my feet are extremely sore after only a few hours of wearing them in the car to the point I'm driving without them on. Furthermore my feet are either sweating or frozen in these shoes, there's absolutely no in between. Lastly I was looking for a slip on shoe, which this appears to be, however I have to bend over to pull these on every single time I wear them. First time splurging on shoes for myself to be so disappointed, as someone with big feet I absolutely cannot recommend these shoes to
I had read that having high arches would be a problem with these boots, but I went ahead and ordered them anyway. I thought I would never get them on, but I persevered and finally got them on. Wow, total comfort. Then I had to remove them. Honestly, I thought I was going to have to drive to the fire department and get help. It's been several weeks now that I have worn them. I still have a few problems getting the left one on, but once it is on it is super comfortable. I have been wearing them all day and find them to be supportive and comfortable. I have had many compliments on them and I am very glad LL Bean offered them for sale.
First of all, my mom accidentally ran over my foot yesterday with a Chevy Colorado while I was wearing these bad boys and there was no damage done to my foot or the boot! They are strong, durable, and they look great. Over the past month I have worn these hiking, to the pub, concerts, and college gamedays. I even took off my dress shoes after my brothers wedding and wore the blundies with my tux at the reception! They’re so easy to take on and off and they’re just so comfortable. They look great with shorts or pants, and the more worn out they get, the better they look. Pay attention to the Australian sizing. I told the REI clerk I was a size 10.5 and ultimately he helped me decide on the 10. They are absolutely worth the price for the quality.
It's a nice looking boots, and the shipping is fast. However, I feel the quality is declining. Recentaly, I ordered one pair and found there is a defect on the rubber with junction of leather. I am concerning the water will break in and the leather might be separated from the base pretty soon. Moreover, there are lots of little bubbles/holes surrounding the rubber. I don't know if it's going to cause any issue in the future. I had to order, refund/exchange, and reorder to get the one that I don't see those issue. It took lots of efforts to get a pair of boots, which I never experienced before. Anyway, it's quite pricy boots, and I hope to see the quality as a consumer.
Dang these are cozy. I got my first pair in a different color 3 years ago and they're still incredibly cozy. They're a lightweight but sturdy boot, and look great with jeans. I wear mine year round tho they're not super warm in the winter. We're in high desert so get snow and all that cold. I really wish REI stocked the insulated women's version of these boots... they'd be a great addition to my quiver. The sizing is all whack on REIs website and through ordering. I had ordered a size AUS5 and got shipped a size AUS 4. AUS5 fits my US 8 womens foot. If you live close to a store I'd say try em on first. They're pricy but very durable and long lasting. I hike and walk in them, wear them into town for errands, ride motorcycles, Muck paddocks... pretty much anything and everything. It's amazing how lightweight the boots are yet so sturdy. I'd be in better shape with these on if a horse stepped on my foot vs most of the actual cowboy boots on the market these days. The only thing I don't like about em is when I go get coffee or breakfast or other places hipsters tend to congregate, EVERYONE is wearing them. I guess in that way they make me feel a little like a hipster, which I don't love.I wore this new pair today for the first time, running around doing barn chores n all that... LITERALLY NO BREAK IN PERIOD. It's awesome. But you know what... They're popular for a reason!
I had been considering buying these shoes for probably a couple of years, but was put off by the price. When I found a coupon from REI in the mail, I decided the time is right. Only sorry I waited. I was concerned as well over the slip-on aspect. I have narrow feet and slip-on can be tricky. No reason to worry. The fit just fine, no slippage. I added the included extra insoles and that kicked it up a notch. I intended to wear them primarily tromping in the vineyard, but found that I enjoyed wearing them so much they became my go to shoe for walking around Seattle for two days!
SIZING: I wear a US womens 10 and ordered AUS 7 & they fit perfectly. Most reviews ordered AUS 7 with a handful ordering AUS 8. I would *not* recommend AUS 8 as I found them to be very true to size.FEEL: Fit and comfort is personally comparable to Xtratuff ankle boots. My Blunnies came with an extra set of inner soles [to be added underneath the existing sole] to snug them up slightly. Even if they had not come with a pair of extra soles, I would still be happy with the fit with and without thick socks although I do prefer having the extra sole in.There are very few reviews from US women in my size so I hope this helps a fellow big footed lady as it can be tricky with sizing in the double digits.
