This makes the best breakfast, I recommend it highly. I use a little extra water per serving , it thins the porridge out some, cooks fast. Affordable price and size. I add maple syrup and flax to mine, I love the taste of the brown rice cereal, it tastes high quality. Bob's Red Mill never disappoints they use the best ingredients in a nice package for storing, YUM!!!

When I was in the US, I used to buy this product regularly in bulk at Whole Foods. It was one of my favorite meals. Happy that i-herb sells it. I eat it for lunch or dinner by adding salt instead & any flavorful cheese, such as blue cheese, parmesan or emmenthal. For breakfast, I just add the pulp of my nut beverages with a little bit of maple syrup & fresh fruit. The taste is very light & easy on my digestion. Will definitely buy it again, again, and again. If you like rice semolina, you definitely will love this cereal.

I initially wanted to try this brown rice cereal as an alternative for oatmeal that I have just about every morning, and it is delicious topped with blueberries and a small amount of sweetener. I also love it as a side dish for lunch or dinner with just a bit of salt and pepper and whatever veggies I'm having. It was my first time trying this cereal, and I'm so happy I did. I'll definitely buy more!

This contains small pieces of rice and great to make creamy cereals and desserts for breakfast. I found it best to soak it in water first, so it can be cooked easily. Package and price are reasonable. One word of caution is that it contains lot of starch (that is why it is creamy), so be wary if you are avoiding starch in diet. Apart from that, it is good quality product with benefit of whole grain brown rice fiber to aid in digestion.
I eat this for breakfast every day and it's so hearty and satisfying. It has a slight nutty taste and you can add things for more flavor. I add a splash of rice milk, half a scoop of vanilla whey protein powder, and a teaspoon of Barleens flax oil. You can control how thick you want it depending on how much water, or liquid you cook it with. I like it thick, and it's so creamy and filling. It's hard to find in all the local stores around me anymore, so I'm glad I'm able to buy it from iHerb.
As an IBS sufferer since youth, this cereal is wonderful! I mix it half and half with Bob’s Red Mill and cook in the microwave for 3:00 in triple amount if water, then 30 second intervals 3 times after the 3 minutes. Perfectly soothing and creamy. I like a splash of unsweetened vanilla almond or soy milk on top, with blueberries, ginger, cinnamon, and stevia. Delish!
I don’t think I could give a good review on this item. I tried and it wasn’t what I expected. I was hoping for the amazingness I always heard about it.First off, I didn’t read the directions so I didn’t have a good understanding of how to make it. It was very crunchy, like uncooked rice when I ate it.I would not go off my review because I probably didn’t cook it properly.
Consistency is great. Theres too many cream of rice products with soo many chemicals in that have the consistency of water.It needs attention while cooking to stop lumping up but worth it. I mix a scoop of protein powder in at the end once it’s cooked (as I’m currently using this as an alternative to oats for my building phase in training) my body digests cream of rice so much better and with this being whole grain it has a low GI too!! Even better!!

Love this rice cereal!! I appreciate that it is organic and I really like the option of being able to buy a rice cereal that is made with brown rice. It cooks up perfectly in about 12 minutes and is really delicious as a breakfast cereal (with nuts and a sliced banana) or as a dinner side dish with any meat + vegetable. It is also very soothing to eat when you have an upset stomach and don't want a full meal. I used to buy Arrowhead Mills rice cereal, but this one is so much better - the cooked consistency is very smooth and it has a delicious clean rice taste. Highly recommend!
