Bodum make the safest & most simple-to-use coffee presses. I would never consider using any other brand.
Sturdy and reliable.
Love the rich flavor of the coffee made using this process. We do not use it all the time because the grounds are a little messy to clean up, but it is definatley worth the extra effort.
The best thing about a french press is that they don't "die" due to hard water. I used to go through an electric coffee pot once a year. My reason for buying this Bodum? The last one, after years of use, finally wore out.
