Very functional and makes great coffee. Fabulous travel mate but wished the plunger stem was a bit longer as it’s a bit short so leaves quite a large volume in the bottom

Fantastic product which I used at least twice a day. However Bodum need to re think the design as residual coffee leaks in between the inside insulating cup and the outside one, so I have to continually purchase a new one which is disappointing. And it looks hideous. I have brought this up with Bodum in the past as it seems a design fault and have had it replaced which was great but doesn't seem to have been fixed.

Already used this today, awesome product. Fit in my car cup space perfectly. Keeps warm a few hours. No spills.

Doesn't seal particularly well, press (which pushes just past halfway) press doesn't go down enough. In a nutshell: You get half a cup of coffee and will probably leak down your top when you attempt to sip from it.

I love these even just for every day use at home as well.One fault. The seal around the rim is not always intact, or it disintegrates quickly. This allows moisture to seep into the vaccuum between the 2 layers reucing the thermal efficiency.

Fine until the inner plastic wall breaks and it starts leaking into the air gap

it's an OK plunger, but is not really long lasting. we've had it for about a year, and the inner plastic lining recently started crazing and splitting so the air gap is now starting to fill with coffee. Now unhygienic and rubbish.

Fresh coffee on the go!! What a brilliant idea

I have the plastic travel press and the stainless steel travel mug. I find the stainless steel mug has a much better quality made lid than the plastic version. Both work well but the plastic one leaks slightly if knocked over which is disappointing but it is a great concept and I would still recommend for its price.

Great product for serious coffee/tea drinkers

This is a quality coffee or tea cup with a difference. Brilliantly designed as a cafetiere on the go, you can put one spoonful of fresh ground coffee pour your water and go. Let the mug then blend the coffee and brew it until it's ready, gently push down the plunger and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee. You can use it for loose tea, real tea, as it should be made, again using the mug, let it brew and then use your plunger. The plunger doesn't go all the way down and there is a bit of a problem with the last mouthful being trapped under the plunger. A minor issue. The wall of the cup keeps your contents super warm and the push down lid also seals the top after you have fully pushed down the plunger. I bought my Travel press in Tasmania in 2014......am so sad she died this winter.....! Most likely from using the dishwasher TOO much...So now to buy another, unfortunately none of the "kitchen " shops have any, so will have to get via internet. Which is so much more expensive than buying from a shop. Why?

Nice cup...not always practical

This cup is a sturdy, well made item which is great for travelling with. However, the cafetiere lid is only good for someone who drinks their loose tea or coffee black with no sugar. Once you have put the coffee and water in, you push the lid handle down and it leaves you with a nice cup of fresh coffee. However, there is no scope for putting milk or sugar in so be aware. I have been using it as a general travel cup and found the lid fits well, the drinking spout is no drip and the cup is very robust. Perhaps a bit expensive for a regular travel mug but good all the same.
