The fit and finish on this knife is not perfect. Be that at is may, for the price it is excellent. The action is smooth. Lockup is tight. The 440C takes a great edge, and holds it pretty well. Sure, it isn't a super steel, but you didn't pay for a super steel either! The handle is better than other knives I have held in this pattern, in that it has a slight swell toward the lanyard hole. This makes it very comfortable and stable in the hand.It is surprisingly light for its size. The blade profile is one of the most versatile out there. I would not consider it a collector piece, but if you want a solid, good looking, hard working knife at a great price, this is a winner.

I picked one of these up for less than $40. It is light, but strong. The fit and finish on mine is excellent. Lock up on the blade is tight. There is no wobble at all. It had an excellent edge right out of the box. The Bubinga wood scales are very attractive. It should prove itself a handy hardworking knife. For the price, it would be tough to beat.

Great knife, easy to open and close and sturdy. Very reasonably priced. A great pocket knife for serious work or to just carry around. To many knives wiggle when open. That's the sign of a poor quality knife that will let you down at a moment of need. This knife is study in the open position. Another sign of a bad pocket knife is if you see space between the joints or scales. This one is tight, with no wiggle room. Very well put-together. Personally, I enjoy pocket knives, but I used to buy the in-line locking blades, because they opened quickly. Then my 'trusty' in-line locking pocket knives started opening in my pocket (yikes!). So, I switched to back locking blades. They take two hands to open, but I like them better, since I'm not going to stab myself ... MoreGreat knife, easy to open and close and sturdy. This one will stay closed in my pocket, but I could probably learn to open it one-handed, since it's got smooth action. A real winner of a knife for the price!

Just got it today but first impressions are just great. Fit and finish is near perfect, tight lockup, sharp out of the box ready for use. Pretty light weight for its size. Really recommend this knife!
