I have never been so bummed at finishing a bottle of sunscreen. Usually I can’t wait to move on and try the next one. I purchased this back in November because I wanted something more moisturizing for the winter and this did it. Haven’t turned back ever since. I use it every day and doesn’t irritate my eyes. Although it’s not perfect, it can feel a little greasy at first and it smells of plastic (at least to me) even though it’s in scented and if you cry or rub too hard just hope you don’t get this in your eyes because it will hurt! Amazing it’s a must!

Not one for reviews or should I say I’ve never found a product that suits my skin as my skin is highly sensitive and even though I always go for organic products that may still have some effect on my skin and break out after sometime of using the product, so I’ve never had a product that has lasted enough time to be able to write about it. This product has left me hydrated and I’m dark skinned and have a lot of pigmentation and most definitely need spf as my chin/mouth area gets darker than the rest of my face exposed to sun. Didn't break me out

I've been struggling to find a sunscreen that would work well for me, I have oily skin, acne-prone and sensitive skin. I'm south east asian with tanned skin. I've only used this twice and have been reapplying throughout the day and it didn't break me out! Usually I break out after a day of using a product but this sunscreen is excellent. I would agree that it does get greasy, it doesn't FEEL greasy for me but it does LOOK like it, which I don't mind. The greasy feeling others get I think really depends on how oily you get, I used to be SUPER OILY. I think using skincare products with niacinamide and exfoliating with a salicylic acid worked for me in combatting my oily skin, that way, the sunscreen didn't feel oily for me. Great affordable SPF but not for oily skin

I have been using this as my go-to SPF for well over a year now. I find that with daily use it lasts a decent amount of time (my first tube lasted me about 6 months but I was only using it about 4-5 days a week). It sits under makeup beautifully without any pilling (which I have noticed in some other SPFs) and I often find that I do not need a moisturiser with it as it is very hydrating. My skin gets fairly oily during the day but as long as I set my face well, the SPF does not cause me any problems. For this reason, I tend not to wear it unless I am wearing makeup as it can be very shiny. However, if you do have really oily skin, I would agree with everyone else and say to avoid this as it can feel quite greasy and oily on the skin. Great for Dry Skin

This product is very moisturizing and very gentle on the face. As an American I also like that it is Australian because I can have more confidence in the amount of UVA protection I am getting with the product. I love using this product when I am concerned about high sun exposure or my face is very dry or irritated. I use Adapalene and have had a few cases of the Rentinoid ugliest, and this moisture my face so well and I believe it helped my skin recover faster. It does not have hyaluronic avid in it for those who may be sensitive to that ingredient or can't have it in too many of their products. When I find my skin to be irritated, this is my absolute favorite sunscreen to wear. High Hopes - Disappointed

I'm sort of shocked by how well reviewed this is! It feels heavy on the skin and looks REALLY greasy. No amount of rubbing in or waiting makes it less greasy-looking. It is incredibly difficult to put makeup on over this because of the texture, and it caused my powder to clump too. It also seeped into my eyes after a few hours and irritated them badly. Because of the amazing reviews, I really have tried to give this a chance; I wore it several times and tried multiple ways of applying it/trying to cover the greasy appearance, but nothing helped. In its favour, this is very reasonably priced. I didn't notice any white cast (but I am also very pale). It does not have a strong smell, and it also did not irritate my skin at all or break me out. Highly recommend!

My skin is very sensitive and this sunscreen has been nothing but good on my face. It’s a thin liquid consistency which means it apples and spreads easily on your face. Other sunscreens always leave a white cast, but Bondi Sands does not! It blends into your face with no trace of white even though it is a white liquid. I do have to say after you apply it may feel and look a bit greasy, but my skin is dry so I don’t mind. For as long as I have been using the face sunscreen, my face has not had any bad reaction. I’m really glad I found Bondi Sands sunscreen, it has helped against the brutal sun as I am outside very often. Highly recommend!

Let Down

Reading all the reviews both on Superdrug and over the web - I was really excited to try this sunscreen. I've been looking for a good sunscreen for a while but this really did not live up to the hype for me. Keep in mind, I have normal/combination, acne-prone skin. I am mid-20's and of South Asian descent with tanned skin. The sunscreen promised to be not oily with no white cast. I would say that it doesn't leave a white cast like many sunscreens do but usually I find I can rub sunscreens in more and the white cast fades. My sister nd I love this suncreen. This isn't sum sponsered post or anything. We bought these items with our own money. Hands down one of the best chemical sunscreens almost no white cast! It's great for our dark skin tones. Its also so affordable! This suncreen needs to become trending on tik tok, so more ppl wil be exposed to its fantastic formulation. Such a great purchase! Not pregnancy safe

This product is not pregnancy safe. It is a chemical sunscreen containing HOMOSALATE 10.00% W/W and OCTOCRYLENE 8.00% W/W. It's receiving a low rating because when I specifically asked Bondi Sands whether this product was safe during pregnancy, I received the following vague reply: "Thank you for reaching out to Bondi Sands 💖 Our SPF 50+ Fragrance Free Face Sunscreen Lotion is dermatologically tested and suitable for those with sensitive skin. As always, we would recommend doing a patch test first and checking with your GP to make sure this is okay for you!" This did not answer my question, despite the Bondi Sands team knowing that this product contains at least two ingredients that are considered to be unsafe in pregnancy.
