It fades quickly ….Do not go in a chlorinated pool ….will bleach out rapidly.Good for a short weekend….when you are stone pale and need some color.I would recommend the product.Give it a Shot!

I am an avid bondi sands shopper and I have loved their other self-tanning products in the past! Specifically the Self Tanning Foam in dark and the PURE gradual self tanning lotion. Sadly this product does not do it for me at all. After a weeks of use I started noticing this horrible discoloration happening on my skin / these patches of tan break up. It was as if the self-tanner was separating on my skin and making it look extremely patchy and uneven (and yes I take all of the exfoliating, moisturizing, etc steps).This has never happened to me and I am not sure if it is because this is the Ultra Dark formula or if it is just this product itself. I am very upset and sadly will not be using this product any longer.

I love Bondi Sands. Fantastic application. I am half Greek and have always tasted easy. I am an archaeologist, geologist and paleontologist. So for years have worked outdoors. Like my Dad I have a love of the sun. However, I try to be careful and supplement my natural tan with color from your products. As I age, unfortunately, I see sun damage, loss of pigment or white spots. Your products keep me looking good and feeling good and camouflage my flaws. None of us are perfect and I cannot live without color. Keep up the good work. Can you invent a more waterproof version????

I have bought this product many times now and I absolutely love it, it goes on completely evenly, doesn’t smell at all and wears off very evenly after about 5 days, perfect just like a normal natural tan. The reason for the lower rating is that once the bottle is used, after that if you do not keep the bottle upright (for instance, packed in a Holliday bag) it leaks through into the lid and seeps outside the lid. Every time I take it away I have to put cotton wool inside the lid and double bag the bottle, it’s a real nuisance and a waste of the product.
I have used Bondi Sands light to medium tanning lotion for the first time this year. I am allergic to uv A and uv B rays and have been diagnosed with PMLE- or Polymorphic Light Eruption and I break out in hives mainly across the back of my neck and upper arms as soon as the sun and uv hits me. I've decided to use this lotion to give my skin a darker pigment to try to block the sun and uv from touching my skin. So far it seems to be working for me and I only have a light rash this time around. I'm extremely happy with this lotion as it's the first lotion I've found that doesn't make me itchy on top of my allergy which I sometimes get when I break out with my allergy. So far so good and I am one happy lady

Packaging was great, made in Australia, ticked all the boxes, pricing was similar to others I had been purchasing. What I was not familiar with, and I have been home tanning for years was that you required a mitt. I found this inconvenient, messy and all in all a complete disaster. As a tanning product it obviously holds its colour well however that comes at a cost, in my case brown hands. This also means there is little movement for application errors, it must be rubbed in completely otherwise you will get stubborn streaks. The first time I tried it I loved it. Was really easy to apply and even though my application wasn't super seamless it blended out really nicely when I showered (I used the bondi sands mitt to apply). It definitely was light I left it on for 6 hours like it said for the deepest tan and it was still way lighter than what it looked like right after applying so it's perfect if you need just a little bronze. Definitely do the who exfoliating and shaving beforehand because I didn't once and it barely lasted. When applied well with the exfoliation and everything it lasted me like a week. The scent is really good only has that weird smell if you leave it on for the full six hours.

I usually buy the foam version but it had sold out. Bought this instead and applied with the mitt. Was genuinely concerned when I applied it because it didn’t seem to rub in well and I looked a muddy mess. It was sticky for a good 20 minutes but I got dressed anyway. Didn’t have high hopes and thought it would be patchy but I was genuinely impressed when I rinsed it off the next day. I have an all over even colour and no streaks at all. My skin feels so soft too. I think I prefer this end result to the foam bondi sands but the foam is easier and dries quicker. I have pale skin and dark hair. One coat was perfect. No orange tint at all
Best results I've had from a self tanner. I've always hated the foam versions because they're extremely sticky & you have to sit like still otherwise it'll streak. This product is cream based so it's very minimally sticky, smells nice, and easy to apply.I exfoliated then applied once out of the shower, then a second later 30 min after as suggested on directions. Went to bed and woke up with the PERFECT tan. Get the ultra dark version.I didn't use gloves as suggested, and woke up with very black hands but it washed away easily with a little scrubbing in the shower. You gotta try this besties
