I am absolutely obsessed with Bonne Maman fruit spreads now! I've tried the four berry. Intense blueberry and the lemon curd and they just keep getting better! The lemon curd is my all time favorite, you can use it on so many things! I add a little at the bottom of my yogurt, I've made pastries with it and there are endless other uses for it. The intense blueberry is just that! It's amazing and is so good on a peanut butter sandwich and as a topping on my mini cheesecakes. The four berry has chunks of berries in it and is also delish! These are a new staple in my fridge!

I love lemon in just about any kind of dessert, including lemon curd. This is a new brand of curd for me, but I figured it was worth a try since I've been pleased with jams/preserves from Bonne Maman in the past. The gamble paid off! This curd is intensely lemon with a recipe that provides a good balance of tartness preventing it from being too sweet. I will purchase this again. My favorite use it adding this to Swiss Buttercream for a luscious lemon icing for my homemade lemon cake. I have also used it (straight from the jar) as a filling between the layers of coconut cake which has been a hit with everyone who has tried it.

I've been buying this product now for many years and always enjoyed it, however the last two jars of this product have been very substandard. It's blatantly clear that the manufacturer has cheapened the ingredients. It no longer has that bright effervescent lemon colour to it and the zesty zingy indulgent flavour has completely disappeared. The basic Asda lemon curd tastes way better than this so-called premium and more expensive product. I will no longer be buying this manufacturer's products

Best on the market, use it in tarts, pies, yogurt, top of a plain cheesecake with some fresh raspberries (will be your new favorite summer dessert), or anything else you can think of! You won’t be disappointed! Bonne Maman also has a cool website with all kinds of recipes and diy project ideas to reuse their pretty jars! Enjoy!
A little too tart, runny, and pricy. Also, it had lemon essential oil as an ingredient listed on the jar itself, which was not listed on the ingredients section online. I'm not sure if essential oil is okay to be ingested - if I had known it contained that, I would not have purchased. I also find the price to be pretty high for what you are getting.
Maybe it's just the batch that I bought. It says all the right things on the label (sugar, lemon juice, eggs, butter) but upon opening, it didn't taste like that. It's also got tapioca flour in it which you can taste as Bonne Mamam didn't cook it enough / properly. And the lemon essential oil may be artificial because it's so acrid. Initially, I gave one star but added another because the lemon curd improved marginally in the fridge. It's not good enough for toast or to be the centre of attention in a pudding or cake but it's edible drowned in yoghurt. Maybe that's why it's on special. Very disappointed.
If I could give negative I would. This has a slight lemon taste, is not smooth or creamy, has a weird under flavor that I cannot place. And a must overtone. I am honestly more mystified by the good reviews. This tastes nothing like a homemade or quality jarred lemon curd. It has a weird texture that coats your mouth. This is absolutely awful. Those who like it, please try homemade or Dickinson's(the only brand I use due to it being the closest to homemade), as this is not what lemon curd should taste like. The expiration date is several months down the road, so either this is just what the makers think this tastes like, or they have poor quality control and the batch I have was not made properly. Either way, I will not buy this again.
I have been trying various curds as I no longer make my own. I am surprised at Bonne Maman as not up to their standards.Found this curd on opening quite loose with opaqueness on surface. Fell off the knife & had to use a spoon. I could taste or smell little lemon, far to sweet and when put on cold toast it just spilled of the crusts on to cutting board leaving very sticky mess!I am going to continue to make my own Curds. I do not recommend this product. Bonne Maman needs to review this recipe.
This is a good quality lemon curd. I like the fact that the ingredients are mostly simple and whole foods without a lot of artificial flavors. The taste is very lemony and sweet and the consistency is not too thin or thick. I got this to use in my chia pudding, which I make with plain kefir. Very satisfied.
Only place found to order Lemon Curd, Happy IHerb had it. IHerb has been my go to site for many items past years. This curd is very yummy on anything. Little is only needed on my food. Like Bonne Maman products, all is very Good. This is has nice flavor, texture and not runny. Bought three, cause the quality and taste is perfect.
