I read a very endearing story about the founder of this Bonne Maman fruit spread company and since then, I have made it a point to only buy it from this company. Not only is their fruit spread truly the best, the founder of the company has a brave heart of gold.

Bonne Maman is a great brand, I am familiar with it from when I lived in Europe and am glad I can purchase it on I herb. This fruit spread has a nice flavor to it, does not contain a ton of sugar like other jams. It is great on a whole grain toast, or added in plain nonfat yogurt. But I have honestly just eaten with a spoon out of the jar as well as an occasional treat. It really is yummy and not too sweet or sour. The strawberry flavor is great, but not too overpowering, just the right balance. There are no artificial ingredients, which I like. Some of these store bought fruit spreads can contain a ton of junk. The jar is quite small, so it tends to run out fast.. I wish it were not that pricey considering it does not last that long. This fruit spread has a good taste. I like that it's low sugar. It is a bit on the runny side.

I usually do not buy jams with added sugars so I have skipped over Bonne Maman in the past. Recently I was looking for a strawberry and decided on this. It is delicious. Even though it has added sugar, it does not taste overly sweet. I will buy this brand again and add it to my usual non sugar brands like St. Dalfour and Crofters.
All Bonne Maman preserves are delicious, this fruit spread is wonderful with my peanut butter.
This tastes good and is an alternative to the full sugar option, although you may end up having the same amount of sugar if you use more. Chunks of strawberries inside too.
I love Bonne Maman fruit spreads! They are not overly sweet and they taste like home made. I will keep buying them. Hopefully they keep producing these gem!
