This is an excellent strimmer. The battery has a good life and recharges quickly. I use it to clear nettles round young trees I have planted and to do other 'edge' type' jobs. Quick and simple to set up. My wife is quite short so the adjustable handle is very useful. It is robust. A little heavy but nothing impossible.

The strimmer has been used to cut a 60 metre path through some very overgrown long grass, which it completed on one fully charged 6Ah battery. I was impressed by it's power and light weight. A smaller battery would probably be adequate for lighter duties.

A good product, that does the job you expect it to do. Easy to rotate through 90 degrees- would benefit with a guide for cutting down an edge. Overall good & great that I didn't after invest in a extra battery, being able to use the 1 I bought with my hedge trimmer.

Excellent cordless grass trimmer. Usual Bosch high standard of quality. Works exceptionally well and is easy to use, all with no need to plug it in. The battery is part of the power for all group so I was able to buy the bare unit and use one of the 2 batteries and the charger I already have. A brilliant idea.

Very difficult to assemble and then to use due to appalling instructions. the machine itself works well when used flat but more difficult upright to obtain neat edges. if it as not for the fact that i needed a Bosch machine to go with the other cordless tools I would have returned it.My previous Flymo strimmer was cheaper and easier to used.

I purchased this in good faith as per your description above however it is not the 18-26 model. It is the inferior 18 model which is normally sold much cheaper at around £70. The only way you can tell from your description is by the number. Disappointing!

Great Trimmer. Easy to shrink, easy to put into ready mode. Well done Bosch company.The Trimmer is light, easy to use in awkward places ( standing in a ditch to trim the chaotic grass/dock and other weeds on the bank). It is just as advertised, and I would recommend it for general garden use.The on/off mode took a bit of practise, but that could be down to my lack of dexterity. In a few minutes I was confident and making my garden look great. I have not had to replace the cutting wire, but anticipate the great design will ensure all goes well.

Works as advertised. Good tool. I like that it shares the battery and charger with my Bosch 18v leaf blower and drill. Really, the charger was much better, so it's an upgrade and I retired my old one. So easy to use that my wife actually enjoys doing it.

Great piece of kit, excellent for edging and trimming the grass without breaking your back, battery is still on it's first charge after two uses of the front and back gardens. Easy to hold and not too heavy to handle. Very impressed with cordless Bosch garden tools as I have a cordless hedge trimmer and the battery will work in both devices!
