Works well, but leaks. As others have said, this glue gun leaks whilst being used, not from the nozzle, but the body of the gun. I have three other makes of glue gun (used for other work), and not had this problem with any of them.I have been wiping the leaked glue away, but I may decide to return the product.

I’ve had a few glue guns, what intrigued me about this one was the nozzle, while it just about eliminates drip, by far the greatest advantage is the detail application it allows. The gun warms up fairly quickly, though I haven’t timed it, it’s also fairly steady when on its stand, which is a massive concern if you’ve ever had one which kept falling over…Overall it’s by far the best I’ve ever had & would happily recommend it.

Pros: Instructions specify it takes seven minutes to get up to temperature, but you can certainly start using it before then. The nozzle that dispenses the glue allows you to be very accurate in your placement which helps reduce wastage. Overall, a good product.Cons: It's doubtful any glue gun is truly leak-free, but it's worth noting that a small amount of glue can seep out of the nozzle after letting go of the trigger. As others have mentioned, the stiffness of the power cord can make standing the gun upright a little tricky, but it's certainly possible.

Great Bosch Hot Glue Gun
2 August 2021

This Hot Glue Gun is excellent and performs very well for my modelling purposes. It takes 11mm Glue sticks, which means that you wont (or shouldnt) run out whilst performing larger jobs The heat setting is constant and I find it perfect, compared to cheaper product which never gets the glue hot enough. Si this is a welcome, useful addition to my Toolkit and great value. I cant find any cons,it just works.

Great glue gun.
24 February 2023

Needed to attach some hard rubber 'runners' onto a heavy door. How to do it? Suggested, hot glue. Anyway, bought a glue gun and completed the task. Most impressed with this. I have found other things round the house that would benefit from using a hot glue gun. Uses standard 11mm glue sticks which do seem to work well in many situations. Be warned though; as I found out, the glue does get very hot. Best to place the gun onto old rag as it will drip if not wiped clean. If not using for a period of time, wipe clean and turn off. Personally, I think that this is an excellent bit of kit and would most certainly recommend it. Great price too.

Lightweight and Great Features
30 September 2016

I bought this Bosch PKP 18 E Glue Gun as I have got 4 Glue Guns that are useless and wanted a good quality Glue Gun that is Supposed to be Non Drip. When un-boxing the product the Nozzle was not attached to the gun and was separate, there was also a small round metal piece which I assumed was a washer that fits between the Glue Gun and the Nozzle and had no idea which way round this fitted as the the Instruction Booklet did not show this metal part. It took about 7 minutes to heat up and whilst standing leaked heaps of glue from the Nozzle and also leaked glue where the Nozzle is connected to the gun. It is Lightweight and fits nicely in the hand and has a nice long metal nozzle which I found very useful. You can purchase different Nozzles in size and shape, but I ... MoreI bought this Bosch PKP 18 E Glue Gun as I have got 4 Glue Guns that are useless and wanted a good quality Glue Gun that is Supposed to be Non Drip. Pricey for lack of features
11 March 2022

Bosch is a well known brand that has been around for year the other Bosch products with engines and moving parts have always been quite good,. in comparison to the other models on the market with led lights better stands and offering different tip sizes and more glue sticks included this is just basic as it does not come with these features, only good points is it is a 200 w and heats up reason fast and has a comfortable grip and is light weight.

Useful piece of kit
19 February 2020

Only used it twice. Seems well made and works. You have to be careful as the nozzle gets very hot and remains so for a while after you unplug it and it does not balance well on its leg. So in-between glueing pieces if you put it down it has to be secure. Glue stick needs replacing faster than I thought and if you wish to change the kind of glue you waste a fair piece of the glue you are changing from. However, its useful piece of kit.

Very easy to use
31 January 2019

I bought this to replace my old glue gun, which died on me half way through a job. It was actually a panic purchase. I just saw Bosch and Glue Gun and bought it without checking reviews etc. Not always the best way to go about buying tools but I have to say this gun is just excellent. The nozzle really allows me to get into tight spaces and the heat up time is so much better than my old one, even when it was new. So, to sum up, it's a Bosch glue gun that wasn't expensive but it works really well and I'm very happy with it.

Worst glue gun ever
15 March 2018

I bought this to take over from an ageing Dremel glue gun that I had to push the glue stick through as the trigger no longer worked. BIG MISTAKE this thing drips all over the place, I had more string than I have ever had and the paper I had to put it on to catch the drips had more glue on it than I had on the rosettes I was making. with it dripping as you lifted it is was a nightmare. The long point on the nose would be great if blobs of glue did not drip out before you had it in position. I gave up before I had used my first glue stick. I have returned to my old Dremel and pushing it through while I wait for a new one.
