Was so happy to be able to order this extra orbita sander. Bought Bosch because I think of it as a quality brand. Rubbish, with less than an hour of use the hook and loop system that attached the sandpaper to the pad had stopped adhering. Upside, Mitre10 were awesome at helping resolve this issue, hope the new pad works.

I bought this sander a few weeks ago after using one at a workshop. The handle at the front allows for more control and it's excellent to have a dust catcher. The speed variety seems good and I've enjoyed the ease in replacing the sanding discs which are hook and loop backed. Be sure to get the right size sanding discs though, there are 150mm and 125mm - the 125mm being what this sander uses.

I bought this about a month ago to do door and window trims throughout the house and to restore some furniture. I have used this 3 times so far and have found it a really good product. It's really comfortable and has done the job easy. As another reviewer has noted, if you are doing big jobs it's worthwhile connecting to a vacuum (not the house one) as the filter housing is not that big. I don't have a Bosch vacuum so the fit of the nozzle wasn't quite flush so I had to hold the nozzle, which made it awkward sanding up high.
