the best part of this sander is that the sandpaper tip is made to be able to be rotated 3 times so three times the wear of sandpaper at the tip of the sander brilliant idea.The negative is that the dust box is connected so tightly to the sander that I have only been able to remove it once right at the start. Now I have used it quite a bit I am not physically strong enough to get it off. very frustrating so I am having to empty buy using a vacuum cleaner.

The sander is light, easy to use and does what it is meant to. The container attached to the sander holds a surprising amount of dust. Thrilled with our purchase and highly recommend it.

I bought this about a month ago and have loved using it! It fits perfectly in my hand and is very comfortable to use. I hand sawed some bed slats for my daughter and used this sander to soften the edges - what a speedy job! 1-2 mins p/slat and I was done! I'll be using it frequently so I'm happy with everything about it! Great value for money.

I have purchased 2 in the last 3-4 months, my first purchase was 3 months ago when it just blew up poof that was it after 5 minutes use on that day, had been working fine up until that point, I have replaced it with another one the same, so far so good. It does the job well. I like the way it fits into your hand & I have a small hand, the part I find very annoying is the dust box, it’s extremely difficult to remove the lid to empty it, a very very tight fit, I have found this to be a problem on both sanders.
I purchased this product during lock down level 3, the sander is the perfect size for sanding exterior wooden windows, and worked well into the corners and on the old wood putty around the glass. I already have a larger Bosch orbital sander so like the brand.
I am extremely happy I purchased this sander. Small efficient does the job very well. Being a senior with arthritis, its plenty powerful, easy to control, fits into my palm well, is not to heavy or awkward. Excellent price for a mighty great sander, even better because it has its own dust catcher on the back and that is fairly easy to cleanup. So satisfied.
I have gone through 2 other multi detail sanders (not Bosch) in a matter of months. I though it was a reliable brand but it seems not to be the case.I have other Bosch power tools which are super reliable so it made sense to choose this sander when looking again. Compact and easy to use.The only negative I find with all these small sanders - the dust collectors are inadequate, become loose very quickly and end up collecting no dust at all. If the companies producing these items can look to improve them they would be a perfect tool.
This product was bought as a replacement for one bought over 10 years ago. Which has been thrashed, used to sand the exterior of 2 houses using 40 grit pads, plus several other jobs in between, great for getting into corners.
Sander worked great at the beginning and the start to labour as I was using and then completely stopped. Took it back to Mitre 10 and they told me to take to the repair shop which does warranty work for Bosch. I am still waiting for the $89 sander to get fixed. It has been over 2 months now!
Bought this a month ago and within two weeks it was labouring in revs then stopped. Got it replaced and now the same issue. Revs go up and down then it stops, give it a shake and slap and it restarts, works for a bit and stops again. The switch is not sealed and gets dust in it. Other than this, great machine, but useless if you have to keep taking it back. Would not recommend.
