No reverse spin, difficult touch screen, over complicated settings... just awful... will try for a refund or exchange with Appliances online... really wished I had bought it at Bunnings!

We replaced an old vented dryer with this and couldn't be happier. We mostly use the Mixed program and it takes about 1.5hrs (it often says more on the display, but will finish early if it detects the clothes are ready). The clothes don't come out crispy dry, but dry enough to put away. If you are concerned about how dry the clothes are when they come out, make sure you read the instruction manual. It tells you how you can easily adjust the dryness level of the automated programs with the touch of a button.

Bosch 8kg heat pump dryer was my first purchase with Appliances Online. I called them to inquire about the product. They were so helpful and gave me all the information needed. Also it was a 24 hr number which was great. I purchased online and received the dryer in 2 days. It was a very easy process with no issues. My first experience with Appliances online has been fantastic. Will definitely recommend to all my family and friends.

What a fantastic dryer. I had an old albeit functioning Asko condenser dryer but needed to upgrade. If I had known Bosch heat pump dryer was going to be much more energy & time efficient, I would have invested in this years ago. Well worth the money and drying doesn't take as long as you think. The clothes are crisp and dry without the harshness of the traditional dryers. Lots of functions to choose from. It just simply works.
The Bosch Serie 4 8kg Heat Pump dryer is probably the best white goods purchase I've ever made. It has a ton of settings (read the manual) to give you the best drying for your clothes, a huge 8kg drum, it's quiet, has an easy to clean lint filter (that actually works) and its power efficient, really efficient, it deserves the 7-star rating. Build quality is just what you expect from Bosch, excellent. The initial outlay may seem like a lot of dollars, but the return in savings really adds up. My daily power consumption is around $2.60, when I used the dryer, $3.10! Outstanding. I only wish that I discovered this dryer sooner. Worth every cent.

Sadly living in Tassie means that washing doesn't line dry 7 months of the year, so bought this beast, which is now my ultimate time saver - no more clothes airer and no more gambling on the weather or rain. Perfect for renters or home owners who have awkward space for storage as this does not need to be plumbed due to the water catchment tank which removes from the dryer. We have it in our dining room, it works anywhere where there a space for it and a power point. After trialling a few settings we prefer the 'Cotton cupboard dry' setting on heat level 3. The timer often gives a longer time reading than what it will actually take too. It always finishes in a significantly shorter time. This machine is useless. Arrived did not dry properly on any setting. Appliances online booked a tech and the tech took it away. Tech originally said the gas must be low as it was not working properly. We were told as they do not fix new machines we would get a replacement from bosch. Bosch and tech spoke now we are being told that this model has a small compressor and will only dry properly on the cotton with extra time setting and this is a notoriously bad machine. Will be seeking a refund from appliances online because although the machine is apparently functioning as designed its horrible.

I find myself using the 30min warm program to get the clothes rid of that last damp feeling that all modern expensive dryers seem to design in to aid their energy star ratings, but aside from this it's fantastic. The best aspect is the reverse tumble on all programs meaning that sheets never end up in a giant ball. This was the primary factor in selecting this model. The power cable length of 1.2m was not quite long enough for my installation. Its exit from the dryer is located on the upper RHS of the machine (the default socket location for me was LHS cupboard but past the washer..) I received the dryer and shelf. Had to pay extra for the installation of shelf. That has been completed and attached to washing machine. But I haven't got dryer installed yet. My taps springs are broken because too many workers have used them with force. Can't get around the back of the machines to install the tubes sore neck and small area. I am waiting for my 86 year old father to come and try and install the connections. I will have to wait till next year. Doesn't matter don't use dryer that much.
The dryer works fine and the two lint filters are easy to remove and clean. So far it's a good product.The only small annoyance I have is with the timer function you can't set it to start at a certain time (like when the off-peak time starts), you can only set it to finish at a certain time. Then you have to calculate backwards when it would start given the cycle time. But the finish time isn't accurate anyway, since the duration of the cycle depends on the load and how wet it is etc. It would have been so much easier to have a simple delayed start function instead.
