This oven has been a problem since the beginning. With building our forever home we thought we'd invest money into Bosch appliances. We have had no problem with any of the other appliances purchased, except this oven. We've had the appliance for a couple of years now and have had 3 repairs done under warranty during that period.Even now as I write this I can hear the noisey oven in the background. We've had many different brands in the past and none have been this noisey.I don't recommend this oven if you have an open living area.

Enjoying my oven:1) Fast heat up is excellent, way quicker than my previous oven, saves time and cost to run.2) Overall the features are brilliant, especially the built in spit roast for a bit of a change and fun3) Seems to cook a little cooler than my previous oven so I'm learning to adjust the temps on recipes but it is very consistent with the temp throughout the cook.4) Cool touch door is great much better than my old oven where the door got quite hot.Other points to note:1) Most ovens have a recess at the back for a gas fitting if the hob is above the oven, this does not so you might need some cabinet work unless you are careful in checking your space prior to purchase. Seems this is a common issue based on discussions with the installer from ... MoreEnjoying my oven:1) Fast heat up is excellent, way quicker than my previous oven, saves time and cost to run.2) Overall the features are brilliant, especially the built in spit roast for a bit of a change and fun3) Seems to cook a little cooler than my previous oven so I'm learning to adjust the temps on recipes but it is very consistent with the temp throughout the cook.4) Cool touch door is great much better than my old oven where the door got quite hot.Other points to note:1) Most ovens have a recess at the back for a gas fitting if the hob is above the oven, this does not so you might need some cabinet work unless you are careful in checking your space prior to purchase. I have been using this oven for the past 8 weeks. It seems to have some issues with the timer's touch surface. It gets confused sometimes peeps without a purpose and do not know how to stop it.Would be nice to have a built-in detector who reminds me when I need to run a pyrolytic clean which I had in my previous oven.It is good to know when time is up, the oven turns off, not just stops beeping.Geat baking results, though have to figure out all the grilling and roasting function. I use it mostly for baking and so far so good except for the random timer actions.

Lovely to use
22 July 2020

I have been using this oven for 6 months now and am very happy with it. The pyrolytic function is great and works well, I just have to do it on a daycare day as my toddler is used to being able to touch the oven freely as it doesn't get hot (a feature I love about the oven!), however when self-cleaning the external does get very hot. It is very easy to use and I have not had any dramas with it. I do find however that if a recipe says for example 180 or 160 for fan forced, I will still set it to 180 - perhaps because it is so big it is hard to heat up? In retrospect I probably would have chosen the smaller model, it seems so big to just cook one cake or a casserole dish. I don't think I have ever had both shelves full! But for those who cook a lot of trays/dishes at ... MoreI have been using this oven for 6 months now and am very happy with it. Not good if you like grilling food.
14 October 2019

I am very disappointed with this oven. I wanted to use the grill a couple of days after having it installed. There are no buttons on the oven relating to the grill and the instruction book had no instructions regarding the grill. Did not even mention using the grill! I ended up having to ring the hotline and finally got to talk to a nice girl who took me step by step through the procedure of switching it on which was quite complex. She told me that she constantly has calls regarding this problem. I have had to write down the procedure you go through to get the grill going for my use and for other family members. This was not an inexpensive oven and I expect better from Bosch. I have a Bosch dishwasher, and a Bosch washing machine and have not had any difficulties ... MoreI am very disappointed with this oven. Oven Door has a design flaw
15 June 2022

The oven door makes a clicking noise when heating up and cooling down. The clicking noise can be quite loud and can continue for several hours after the oven is off. I'm on my second oven because of this issue, and the new oven does the same thing!!! Although the new oven isn't quite as bad as the original one. There has definitely been an issue with the oven doors with the two I have had. It's just really annoying.

PERFECTION!
5 September 2020

I recently had our new oven installed as part of our new kitchen and cannot rate it more highly! I was initally undecided if I should go with a smaller oven but now could not imagine downsizing. We have a family of 4 and often have guests over and this oven is perfect, I could not be happier! The size is amazing, I am never short of space! It is so stylish and compliments our other new Bosch appliances perfectly. I am still working through all the different cooking functions although so far I don't have anything negative to say. I love my new oven! Thanks BOSCH!

Top quality and function for the price
24 October 2021

Had been shopping around for a 90cm oven to replace my 10 years old worn out Miele oven, want to buy Miele again but the price for the cheapest one is nearly $9000 which is ridiculous, so decided to try Bosch, which is the exactly the same dimensions as the Miele, very very happy with the looks and the function. To be honest the baking tray, the sliding rail and the door do not feel as solid as the Miele which is two and a half time more expensive. But for what I pay for the Bosch I am very happy with it and highly recommend.

I bought this about 1 month ago and I absolutely love it. I also love appliances online and my oven was my 5th purchase from them...but I digress. This oven ticks all the boxes...quiet, self cleaning, good set of accessories, easy to use and easy to install. I had a quick peruse through the manual but it's otherwise self explanatory...and I've baked roasts, cakes and all sorts of goodies in here. When I read initial reviews there were heaps of people saying they didn't know how to use it. I don't see the problem. The dial is intuitive...scroll clockwise to make a selection for each thing. The temperature Guage and timer and all that stuff is a flat button flush with the oven. This is my second Bosch appliance and while I get the whole German engineering thing, the price point at appliances Online was what encouraged me to actually go with Bosch. I'm not brand loyal but if a brand is consistent in quality, pricing and product longevity then I will choose it. I'm very excited about the oven and haven't had any issues using it so far. It cooks evenly and beautifully with no patching ss or burning. Definitely recommend if you can go up to that middle tier product to choose this oven.
