I bought this to replace the 250 Watt model I had before that developed a defect in the last part of the drive train and could not be repaired. This model has apparently modified that part of the tool, so it is supposed to be more reliable. The previous model came in a nice carry case and some cutting tools, but this one came in a small cardboard box with one cutting tool (that was missing in the package) and had to be replaced. The tool itself is very versatile and can be used for a variety of useful purposes, where other tools cannot be used.

I'd used a DIY multifunction tool but the Bosch was a big improvement on that one. I used it to checkout for some fence rails and it was excellent. Only point was that it comes with only one blade, which for the price seemed a bit surprising. Still, very happy with the performance.
