The look and build quality of this rangehood is great and it has worked very well in the time we have been using it. But please note even though it is a 90cm hood, it has a body designed to fit a 60cm cabinet which means that if you have a 90cm cavity you will need to modify your cabinet or purchase additional Bosch fitting brackets which are available if you hunt them out. It's a pity this isn't made clear in the product info, none of the dimension drawings I could find included the desired cabinet size. A strange oversight for a quality product, like the way the fitting template provided with the fitting brackets being incorrect, don't use it as the hood won't fit!Perhaps Bosch can address these niggles as overall we are very happy with our new rangehood.

Don’t buy any range hood before checking with an installer. 80% of them will need to be returned if you are replacing a range hood in an existing kitchen. No problem if new build or new kitchen. It meant returning this and them organising more time off to get next delivery installed. It is so common an issue that installer (brilliant) has a work around to return and purchase one for you that fits.

Works well, took a bit of time to integrate as my old range hood had different mounting points. LED light is very bright, fan speed range is good (4) and is quieter than the old Miele one.

Replacement for Gagenau and operates as efficiently and quietly for half the price.Easily removable filters
The slide-out portion does not have a fan and is presumably designed to capture steam etc and funnel it into the back portion which is equipped with fans. While the back section works fine, the front section does not work at all so you can only cook on the back burners. A Bosch-authorised technician came and had a look and showed me that there wasn’t even enough suction in the front portion to hold a small piece of tissue paper. He contacted Bosch and naturally, they declined to do anything about it. Don't buy this, it's a piece of junk.
Excellent product overall. A much improved product from my previous Bosch slideout Rangehood purchased 22 years ago. Very little noise from fans, quality filters and the lighting very good. It has only been installed for three weeks and haven't needed to clean it as yet. Although it looks much easier to clean than my old one. That is the main reason I bought a new one. The old one still worked. Not the cheapest one on the market although the quality out ways the cost.

Easy to install. Quiet operation. Good suction. Understated aesthetics.
Great product. Lights on it are nice and bright and light up the bench around the stove where you're working. The fan move a lot of air and whilst isn't the quietest, certainly more quiet than a lot of others out there. 1 flaw is the main grease filter is tucked up in behind the slide out. It's easy enough to get out - unclip and tilt to a 45 degree and slide down, but, if not lined up exactly when reinstalling it it can get jammed. An extra half a mm width would have made all the difference. Just take your time putting it back in. I'm also still undecided whether I like the light and fan controls ticked in behind the cover or not.
Excellent product overall, very little fan noise on low, middle and high settings. Improved filters to trap grease. Lighting on rangehood is great.
