Exactly as expected. I\u0026#039;d read many reviews of this random orbit sander at other places, and viewed a few videos on youtube. Seller was prompt. Hardware store prices for these a lot more than on Lazada. Going to pick some of these.

Great sander with pro features. Bought to finish panels on a handmade oak cabinet. Got excellent results with much less effort than hand sanding. Used vacuum dust extraction and not the included filter. The sander paired with Mirka Abranet discs produced almost no dust. Will use on larger panels which are wider than the disc to avoid rounding over edges. Still recommend final light hand sanding with the grain if you are aren’t going to paint the wood. Great price and quick delivery from FFX.

Would have given this little sander 5 stars if it was easier to switch off. It's just a bit awkward, that's all. . It sands really well. The dust extraction when connected to a shop vac is excellent.

Best orbital sander I've found. Bosch professional are expensive, but worht it in my opinion. This machine works really well. Not dustless when using the on-board collector, but when plugged into a vacuum or dust extractor, creates virtually no dust. Great machine
I bought this sander for a specific job. I already have an orbital sander and precision sander but this job had cross grain to deal with. With that task, I have no issue. But, on long sections before the cross grain the ordinary orbital sander was a lot quicker despite the reviews of all orbital sanders. Both had the same grades of sander sheets fitted. Also, the lead is a devil to fold when putting the sander away. I thing to be wary of is the the Velcro type of attachment to the dustless mesh type sanding discs is not very good. The docs does not stay in place. No problem with ordinary sanding discs. However, this was first time of use so will wait and see. Good carry case. I have several Bosch tools and therefore reliability should be good.
I bought this to replace an elderly orbital sander also Bosch which has given many years of service I hope this one does the same. I have not used this in anger yet so only 4 stars all round, as on test pieces it performs well. It does take some experimentation to get the right speed and abrasive grit combination for the job in hand, some guidance from the manufacturer would be useful here. I like the integral dust collector although there is a knack to removal and emptying. Some space in the carry case for sanding disks would be a useful addition. The device to ensure correct location of the disc is a good idea as is making part of the case to prevent loss. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.
I have an older model with almost exactly the same specs (PEX-12AE, Variable speed, 125 mm diam disc.) After using my sander for many years, I've concluded that the power needed by a Random Orbit sander should be AT LEAST ABOVE 500 Watts in order to have a really useful sander of this type. Even when my Bosch PEX-12AE has 340 watts, and was made in Switzerland (so quality is tops)... It is still too weak. I find it underpowered, being very similar in sanding speed to my smaller DeWalt 1/4 sheet orbital palm sander, which is even less powerful (200 watts)!Believe me, get a Makita BO-6040 that is 6.6 Amperes, a real sander! Unfortunately (as always), there are DUMB people at Makita that DISCONTINUED that extraordinary model, and the newer one (BO-6050) is NOT AS NICE ... Unfortunately (as always), there are DUMB people at Makita that DISCONTINUED that extraordinary model, and the newer one (BO-6050) is NOT AS NICE and definitely not as well designed. The BO-6040 has a LOW and LARGE DIAMETER body, so that it is easier to control because it places your hands CLOSER to the work. (You will need BOTH of your hands because it is powerful, but in the small orbit setting, it is a delight to useas a polisher too. In the "high" power setting, it is very fast and you will be sanding at a high rate, but with no marks! The only thing you could hate in the BO-6040, is that after using it, you will NEVER go back to a lesser power sander! Save your money for a really powerful one that has the proper low centre of gravity and ergonomics. Don't let the high price fool you, a cheap underpowered random orbit sander is slow and a waste of money.
