Does what I need, rebuilding boat cockpit. Batteries seem to last well, it's comfortable to use and not too noisy.

It's a Bosch!It's early days but this sander does what it says on the tin well and I expect it to go on doing this for a long time, it shares my Bosch batteries so it's a winner for me

Light, well-balanced, quiet RO sander with excellent dust extraction (especially using mesh discs).Was concerned at power/job duration with a battery sander, but needn't have been. Seems more than sufficiently efficient using 4 & 5ah batteries.Can't comment on long-term robustness, but certainly feels good and solid.

Good product, simple, lightweight to use. Recommend not to use with low powered battery better with fully charged battery.

This sander is extremely well made, feels good to use, isn't too noisy, is comfortable to use and very easy to clean. Having used it for several tasks I bought one for my daughter and son-in-law.

Have used twice, for around 90 minutes each time.Reassuringly solid. Nicely balanced with 2Ah batteries; less so with 3Ah; would imagine you need to 'actively' keep level with 4Ah and above.Absolutely EATS batteries, but that's a given!Very little vibration transferred to the hand (with old sander my fingers were numb within ten minutes.Dust collection bag surprisingly effective, but you'll want a 'proper' extraction solution if you're doing anything significant in a carpeted/ furnished room.

Bosch GEX18V-125N 18V BRUSHLESS Random Orbital Sander - Body Only

So, There are a good few cordless sanders on the market, Random orbit sanders from the likes of dewalt, makita, milwaukee, etc, are pretty much alike, virtually all same design, bulky, don't have decent dust extraction, etc. I started with a cordless sander from bosch, the GSS18V-10, at the time, a reasonable sander, but over prolongued periods of time, it became painful to use due to the grip, vibration issues and single speed. when trying to remove stock and hitting certain areas of material, the sander would try to throw. The sander is well balanced even with either a 6AH coolpack battery or a ProCore series battery. the dust collection bag is perfectly designed and in the right place, where as my orbital sander, the dust module which has a weakness of the filter unit ungluing and blowing dust to the battery and contacts, this keeps the dust where it should go. One of the other advantages here is the ability to connect to a dust extractor without adaptors, you don't need much suction as the turbine built in to the sander's base is powerful enough to blow dust away, soeither keep the dust module on or connect to an extractor such as the GSA18VLI series for mobile use. Unlike a 150mm mains sander, you don't need a side handle and you will be pleased to know that in terms of operator comfort, not only due to variable speed, but also bbalance and vibration management, both horizontal and vertical operation is very comfortable. What a life saver this machine is. The case has room to store batteries, charger, etc and a bit of room for some abrasives. I've wanted a sander like this for finish work and some mid level surface milling for some time, finally Bosch blows the sander market out of the water! If you're looking for a sander to work as part of your Bosch Professional Eco-System, this is the one. I'd also recommend for corner detailing and profile work, the GOP18V-28 system and a stock of triangle pads and a dust extraction adaptor, you will thank me for this as then you have a system and solution for mobile sanding, whether as a joiner / carpenter or general tradesperson.

Great sander!

Light and controllable made this easy to use. I did all the sanding I needed on one battery charge. I didn't try the dust extraction hose as I found the bag adequate and made use more flexible.. This is a well engineered and well balanced tool.

Very handy, easy to use and clean job

It's our new favourite Bosch tools in the collection. Small, light, and powerful. Easy to control. With the dust pouch, it makes the work neat and tidy. Loving it.
