Has 6 leds behind a clear lens. When doing close work found the multiple shadows drove me mad. Just needs a frosted screen go prevent this. Not as bright as the little one which fits on the battery. Needs to be brighter at least 500 lumens.A good switch with a positive movement.Not that bright.I sent it back.Wouldn't buy it again.

Lights area well. Integrated hook very useful. 4.0ah 18v battery easily lasts a full day minimum. Good price. Use mine in conjunction with a cheap head-torch (Energiser 300, unfortunately available elsewhere). Would recommend

Had a look at various types and products, but I have other Bosch stuff which is good.The site just didn't automatically lead you to batteries, had to look separatelyHere in 2 days, great.
At first I thought the lamp was not very bright - but then in use I was very satisfied with it. I did wonder if an on/ odd switch might have been fitted in the hand grip which feels logical compared to drills etc. but nota problem- I like it very much and v useful on various jobs. Maybe a little expensive.
I have two of these lights which are ideal for working on my motorbike in a dimly light garage. They use my spare Bosch batteries, the light is bright, easily positioned and appear to last for ages.Brilliant for getting light at just the right angle.Also good that the light folds down to a small shape when you don't need it and has a big button suitable for using with gloves on.
I have other Bosch 18v kit and batteries. It is small and light and folds up neatly. I use it with the small 2 Ah battery and still get hours of use. Highly recommended.
Very impressed by the range and power of the leds. Folding feature makes it very reliable and once close folded the led screen gets very well protected. The durability of the batteries is impressive. Another good tool in my Bosh collection.
I will start by caveating this review as i am invested in the Bosch cordless 18v range and this is why i gravitated to it initially.That being said it is a great bit of kit. Had a 5ah battery on it and although heavy due to the battery size it was practically on for 10 hrs a day for 2 days with no need to swap out the battery and never dimmed.The light is bright and consistent and for a small hand tool it really does light up well. I was using it in a very large garage space (approx 50 Sq meters).I love the large on/off button too which is helpful if you are using thick gloves. My work requires me to work in small cramped dark & dirty spaces after only having the light 2 weeks, it has been dropped several times from above a metre height. dropped inside a train engine sump an was fully immersed in oil.in the two weeks of work it was bean used every day including weekends for approximately 8 hrsworking well and bright it has certainly has earned its 5 stars
