If you're going to cut large quantities of laminate, sheet material, or wood to size, you can do so accurately and safely with the Bosch GTS 635-216 Table Saw. The maximum saw height is 70mm. And if you're going to make rip-cuts, you can do this up to 63.5mm deep. The included 216mm saw blade has 22 teeth, which makes it suitable for coarse sawing work. You can vacuum a large part of the inevitable sawdust that's released during heavy sawing by attaching a construction vacuum to the saw table. Are you going to continue working in another place? No problem. Thanks to the relatively low weight of 22kg, the handles, and the storage options for accessories, moving and transporting the GTS 635-216 is very easy.

Was Accurate enough out the box. But can also be adjusted. Extending table is very useful , accessories storage is great, the saw guard can come off with a simple click and be stored securely with the same simple click, angle guide sled is accurate enough to use with minimal play before making a proper one, dust extraction has worked great also. Would definitely recommend and a Bargain I feel at ~300

For the money absolutely brilliant straight out of the box. I can compare as I have a Sedgwick TA 450 with sliding table and 7.5 hp 3 phase motor in my main workshop. Obviously a difference in ability and I purchased this Bosch for my home workshop. It cuts great with the supplied blade although not a planed finish with 24 teeth but I always plane/thickness anyway so doesn't matter to me. The sliding mitre thing isn't great but it works. I put several strips of insulating tape on the slide and trimmed it with a Stanley knife (3 on one side and 2 on the other, I think) that makes it a nice fit and you can cut accurately then, a bit of PTFE dry spray helps too. Dust extraction from underneath is excellent but none from the top so you do get a bit of dust flying out ... MoreFor the money absolutely brilliant straight out of the box. Everything else works as it should, I just can't believe what you get for the money, it's a great little machine, though not so little.

Soft start would be nice, it's a bit scary on start up compared with my workshop saw (admittedly a more expensive piece of kit) but that's the only negative I can say. It's powerful, the fence is better than expected but I did take the trouble to adjust on set up which is worthwhile. The extending side table is brilliant and simple. The folding leg frame is brilliant and well worth the extra money. It clips to the saw effortlessly and clips to itself to remain closed. The saw is weighty enough to not feel like a toy, but light enough to get out of the van without seeing it as a hassle.Overall, very pleased with the product.FFX service was next day, even in the madness just before Xmas. Excellent.

Excellent table saw for the price. Unboxed and in use within 20 mins, no need to set up or reset for square or mitre. Good quality blade. Accessories all well made and designed. Rugged construction. Great tool for my small workshop and home projects. The only small negatives are the weight, if planning to transport around and would love provision for a table extender to cut longer pieces, but perhaps I am asking a lot for the budget. Hope it keeps me smiling
This saw is priced perfectly for someone who doesn't need a table saw all day long. I'm generally always happy with Bosch's blue "Professional" products. They're priced well and work without any issues. Their warranty & service, in my experience, is also excellent. The quality on this saw is really good. Sure, there's two others in this range going up to ~1500 CHF that both up the quality and the sizes you can cut "easily", but how big pieces do you really need to cut and how often (both size and thickness)? That's what should decide what saw you need.Compared to DeWalt's in the same-to-slightly-more price range the one thing missing on this saw is a better fence system. The included one is just fine, really, and it clamps straight (so far), but DeWalts system for fences is better, ensuring it's 100% straight every time. But DeWalt has some stuff this saw does better. The saw comes with a push-stick and blade protectors and a fence, as well as an angle block for non-straight cuts. It's very noisy and has a slight "vibration" on start-up but once running at full speed it's still. There will be dust, and even with attached suction, there will be dust (but to be fair, no woodworking machine is dust free, even with suction).Very happy with mine and highly recommend it for occasional-to-daily wood-working of normal sized wood pieces.
Although having only used it minimally so far (time will tell) I am very pleased with the feel of this saw, being of robust construction, solid with a good weight (but still portable). Performance wise this seems totally adequate for my needs, cutting through the wood I've been using with ease. The supplied blade is fine so far for the soft wood I've been using but note other users comments on upgrading, which I'm sure I'll have to do. I particularly like the hinged cover at the base of the blade allowing saw dust to be removed, preventing build up. This saw was very good value, being actually cheaper than similar type saws of the black and orange variety! The other thing to mention is the great service from Axminster; very quick and efficient (free) delivery, without hassle or any problems. Very satisfied.
Having used industrial saws, I was surprised by what this saw can do.The stand is great and puts the table top at a good working height. The saw arrived on a pallet fully tuned in and ready to use. 45° was accurate and the blade is parallel to the slots. The fence is fine and doesn't need to be anymore than it is.Riving knife is a two position, allowing buried blade cuts. The guard is simple and lacks a dust port, the saw will spew dust in your direction (even with lower extraction). The blade is ok, I wouldn't pay money for another bosch blade. The mitre guage is on the small side, but you can beef it up easily so its not a problem. The saw is well proportioned (power to blade size).Ergonomics are great (if you are right handed)Its light enough to ... MoreHaving used industrial saws, I was surprised by what this saw can do.The stand is great and puts the table top at a good working height. The saw is well proportioned (power to blade size).Ergonomics are great (if you are right handed)Its light enough to carry, but doesn't feel like it will blow away or tip over.I fitted a saxton pro 80t ATB 216/30 blade and the finish was as good as a planer.unbeatable for the price!
Superb piece of kit. Powerful enough to do heavy cutting, light enough to easily move locations.Accessibility to the saw, and dust extraction now achieved with supplied 'spanner'. Now all it requires is a turn of a bolt, whereas so often these access 'panels' needed a screwdriver/alan key. Lastly all the accessories supplied with the machine fit neatly into the base so that when you want the 'spanner' for instance I spoke of, which of course also enables one to take out the blade, they are all where you will find them. ( of course if you put them back after using them!).
I needed something small for my limited space. Easy to set up and surprisingly accurate (2.5mm box joints came out perfectly). Powerful but quite noisy. The mitre gauge is rubbish but bought an excellent one on Temu. I would recommend buying a decent blade or two. Overall, a great piece of equipment for the price. Only gave 4 stars due to the poor mitre gauge and blade which come as standard.
I needed a table saw since my sixteen year old flip-over saw died the death. I already had a mitre chop saw, so I needed this to enable long legth-wise cuts. It is strong enough to rip wood up to at least 35mm thick; it would probably go thicker, but so far I haven't needed to try. It's not partticularly noisy (no power tool will win you friends among the neighbours) but the soft start makes it particularly easy to begin cuts, and avoids judder. All in all a nice piece of kit at a sensible price.
