Our 16 year old dishwasher (Bosch) was due for an upgrade. As it was an integrated model, I called Bosch and they advised me the Serie 8 would fit like-for-like. I managed to install and configure myself fairly easily given the included instructions. The serie 8 is a major update from our previous model. I particularly like the wifi connected app functionality, and the floor projected status readout, both of which remove the need to open the door to see program end time (for example). For the eco-power conscious, there are lots of ways the programs can be configured. It's good having the top drawer as just a rack, without fiddly slots for cutlery. Love, love, love this dishwasher. It has numerous programs to choose from and these are based on time, energy and water consumption that ensures that I choose the correct cycle for the load. Smart options to adjust the three baskets and has an extra clean zone. User manual is easy to understand and has a detailed troubleshooting section. Very quiet and the door opens automatically during the drying phase to ensure an economical drying result. It saves on our energy costs. Fantastic product!

The touch controls are intuitive and responsive. You can guess what the buttons do, and mostly your guess is good. The TALL TUB is deeper and the red-tags on all adjustable shelves are a delight to use because they effortlessly move up or down (with a positive 'click' into place) when adjusting for your load. Plenty of options for various loads (tableware, pots, woks, etc.). Washes quietly, cleans perfectly and leaves the door open after its finished, so you know when to collect your completely dry squeeky clean tableware, that have no washing spots.
