Impressed so far with the machine. Huge capacity and also weighs the load so you know you haven’t put too much. Very quiet so much that when it’s on a slow spin I’m unsure it’s actually working. Haven’t used all the features yet so can’t comment on anything other than quick was and cotton wash which both work fine. I like the drum clean option and will use that as recommended to hopefully extend the lifespan. Extra 3 year warranty from Bosch is very nice and piece of mind. One and only gripe is that there is excess water droplets that gather under the detergent drawer so if you open after a wash you can end up with some down the front of the machine and the floor.

Same Great Quality. We have always used Bosch Machines and the Series 6 Here replaces a Series 4 that replaced an earlier one. The Bosch Machines are real Workhorses, with a robustness that will see it go on and on. This as with. the others, will be used for Washing Sheets of our Air BnBs and as the others will sometimes do 3 or 4 washes a day, then we replace the machines after four years. at that time they are still faultless, but we dont want to risk any failures. if this was used in a normal domestic enviroment, then you are looking at a 8-10 years of faultless service.

We bought this as a replacement for a far more expensive machine which we had for over nineteen years but was failing and had sprung a leak from the bottom. To have it repaired would cost a great deal and we decided that it was not worth it so a new purchase had to be made. The machine looks good and so far performs well . I have only used it 3 or 4 times and all on the quick wash mode which suits my requirements. This machine was bought to replace my existing Bosch Classixx 6 1400 , so the plumbing and drainage were already in place , however this machine does not have the space at the rear to accommodate my existing drain pipes and therefore sticks out further (35 mm )than my last machine did. I will need to recess the drain pipe to allow the machine to fit under my counter as previous. Otherwise I am pleased with this machine and I hope I get 15 years out of it as I did with my previous machine.

The machine is pretty quiet when doing it's spin which is a massive improvement over our last machine, I think direct drive is definitely the way to go. Connectivity was easy. Some of the finishing touches could do with more attention - I think the dial feels cheap and the movement action feels a bit loose and it is easily nudged when in operation which interrupts the program. The drawer needs a fair bit of force to open, and the door a bit similar with no catch release. I do like how I can easily remove and clean the drawer compartment though.
