There's a reason they call this thing 'The Beast'.I was originally put off by a few bad reviews for this which are completely not justified.I've put some really chunky branches into this thing and it just eats through them no problem at all, it even does a fantastic job of smaller greenery (which others said it didn't do well).This is the first time I've ever reviewed a product from Mitre 10, but I felt compelled to after how well it performed (well worth spending the additional money on the AX23).

Bought this upgrade compared to the budget version for my. 4000m section. Turbine has no problem cutting 🧹 sized branches. Used for 2 hrs non stop and makes great mulch. Easy to set up. Checked for spareparts availability, which you can get from bosch website. Noise is not too loud but do wear noise cancelling headphones (with your favorite music) as you will spend some time next to it to process all… make sure you have a good steady supply into machine to make most use of its running time.

This is the second shredder I have had and this one ticks all my boxes.Simple to operate, not nearly as noisy as my previous machine, a delight to watch as it demolishes tree cuttings and cardboard. The product of it's workings makes great mulch and also compost bin ready.
Bought this shredder in July 2021 and haven’t stopped using it since. I live on a 4000m2 (1 acre) block with over 160 trees including many Eucalyptus trees which regularly drop small and large branches. I have used the shredder to shred the branches and use the chips as mulch in my gardens and around other trees and plants. It will take branches up to 42mm diameter so it is very useful. It is not very noisy and I would use it a few times a week. It is solidly built and a great buy.

Recently purchased this machine in replacement of a former Mulcher/Shredder/Chipper of another Brand owned for quite some years and which did me well.This new machine is a delight to use. Its quieter and really handles the volumes of a residential user well.Whilst it may appear slower it really does handle good volumes with greater ease. The receptacle bin below for the shredded material is great and easily handled in emptying.The cutting head rolls round and helps with the feeding of material down into it. No issues in jamming.Well worth paying the extra money for this model.
