Having spent a few days with this Vacuum, there are things I really like and things which I have experienced on other stick vacuums that I am missing here. So let's start. Using the vacuum, I am impressed by how quick and easy it was to set up, how you have two batteries that can easily be interchanged and replaced - they are the standard Bosch batteries you get on their power tools - a definite plus. The run time in each battery was solid. I almost got through my entire four bed room house on the two, missing just one room, and only needing to empty the vacuum once. It is a good weight, feeling solid but not overwhelmingly heavy. The floors and edges were well done with the LEDs and Auto feature (which self-adjusts power to the floor) helping. I LOVE the bend feature that allows you to easily vacuum under low rise furniture. What the vacuum did struggle with a bit was some pet hair on my high pile rug. The other thing I feel it was lacking was a telescopic arm. The vacuum is one size fits all and my partner did find it quite tall for her. Emptying the vacuum is relatively straight forward. A pro is that the vacuum does not require filter washing and has a mechanism to clean out the HEPA filter. A con, there are three parts in the vacuum that need emptying out each time and it can get a bit messy. I recommend doing it outside straight into the council bins. Last little gripe I had about the vacuum was the dock. It is not a standing dock but rather needs to be bolted into a wall. Not ideal for renting and definitely not ideal when deciding whether or not this is the right vacuum for you. It also means that you need to find a space need a power outlet that is high enough to accommodate the full length of the vacuum. You also have to either have the outlet at the perfect height, over a meter from the ground, or accept a cord will dangle between the dock and the outlet. Aesthetically not ideal, but still functional I guess. Overall it is a solid vacuum which I would recommend at the right price point. It is very good but there are more premium ones out there if that's what you're after.

Is it too much to ask to put a piece of clylindrical plastic in the box so you don't have to put attachments in pockets or hold them with your free hand? The unit is fairly heavy but that is the trade off for better quality materials that will hopefully stand the test of time. Overall a fantastic multi purpose cordless vacuum cleaner that can handle all tasks around the home with relative ease.

The ProPower comes with a huge amount of accessories and attachments, but unfortunately does have poor instructions on vacuum assembly and operation. Overall, I felt the ability to get into tight spaces to be a fantastic feature and get under hard to reach places like the bottom of the bed and lounge and the battery life was adequate - but not best in class. I’ve recently purchased the Unlimited 7 ProPower BCS712FCAU and honestly, it’s the most powerful and clever vacuum, there is truly none like it in the market. It’s easy to manoeuvre and get in those areas other vacuums have never thanks to the flexi goose neck design, powerful suction with 3 powerful adjustments and an auto sense to tell when you cross over from vacuuming the carpet areas to floorboards or tiles etc. It comes with lots of attachments to get into tight and far spaces, double battery which can be charged in the tool shed along with all the Bosch handy tools or set up on the wall in the house. The suction is brilliant (even on the tiles in Eco mode), I had doubts that a cordless vac would ever lift the cat hair off our lounges. But I’ve started using it multiple times a week now, the lounges have never been this hair free!!!I love the flexibility in that I can run straight from the carpet in the lounge room onto the tiles without changing the head. This vacuum cleans up on hard surface extremely well. It is light and compact to clean with. There are 3 modes available Eco, which is all I need for my hard surfaces, Turbo and Auto. I use auto on my carpeted areas and it will flick over to turbo when it’s needed. This uses a lot of battery power but I have found I only need one battery to do the whole house with. But this vacuum comes with 2 batteries, which means you will never run out of power! Simply have one charging whilst the other is being used by the vacuum. I didn’t think I would need the light but it means I don’t miss any little bits and I can see those specks. It actually comes in very handy. Especially along with the 90 degree bend makes. I love the fact it comes with 2 batteries so I can keep one in the vacuum whilst the other is charging so far I haven't had an instance where I've been stuck without no charge. The features the Bosch unlimited 7 propower has is definitely something to rave about with the built in light makes it so easy to see and pick up the nitty gritty on my floor, the way this vacuum can bend in half making it seamless to get under the furniture is amazing. I've always been a bit sceptical about cordless and bagless vacuum cleaners. I think I was probably put off by the overly passionate fans of that other brand, you know the one... Anyway having a large house with mostly hard floors and two fur babies I often find that there's mess or dust bunnies that need a quick vacuum. When I first fired up the Bosch cordless vacuum I was ready to be underwhelmed. However it's very light and easy to use and I was astonished at how much fine dirt it picked up from a carpeted floor. Especially when I usually vacuum with a corded machine from another German brand, rhymes with wheelie. Battery life is pretty ... MoreI've always been a bit sceptical about cordless and bagless vacuum cleaners. I think I was probably put off by the overly passionate fans of that other brand, you know the one... Anyway having a large house with mostly hard floors and two fur babies I often find that there's mess or dust bunnies that need a quick vacuum. When I first fired up the Bosch cordless vacuum I was ready to be underwhelmed. However it's very light and easy to use and I was astonished at how much fine dirt it picked up from a carpeted floor. Especially when I usually vacuum with a corded machine from another German brand, rhymes with wheelie. The convenience and ease of use of the Bosch cordless vacuum is really good but what sold me is just how much dirt it picks up. Battery life is pretty good also, I was able to run around the whole house on a single charge. It's definitely found a place as the go to option for quick cleanups but does such a good job I can see us retiring the corded vacuum cleaner. It's also very reassuring to know that the Bosch has a long warranty.
I love how good this vacuum is on all surfaces and how it adjusts the amount of power it needs to use depending on the surface. It Does a really good job on hard surfaces because of this feature. The vacuum was super easy to put together and it is great that it has 2 batteries and have a separate charger. I can get my whole house done so easy with the battery last up to 60 minutes. Other features I really like how the stick will fold in half and can do under low furniture which is great. Only thing I would look at improving would be the dust bin to be a bit bigger that would be nice. I would Totally recommend this to my family and friends this is such a good vacuum i would say this is the best vacuum stick I have used.
