I use this blower for maintenance on apartments. I blow out old dusty window screens without the hassle of removing the screen. I use this anywhere I need to push more volume of air over a larger area than an air compressor. Basically, it's between an air compressor and a leaf blower, like a hair dryer on steroids with no heat.

This tool is a great addition to my Bosch 12v tools. Powerful motor makes quick work of small cleanups. It is light enough that my wife can use it too. I definitely recommend it!

I use the Bosch 18V Blower for small cleanups in my workshop. Just the right amount of CFM as not not create a dust storm in a confined garage. I really like the smallness of it. The drawback is the air intake which is on the left side of the motor. For the right handed person, the intake gets caught on a persons pants and you have to apply force to get it off, but at the same time you've lost your momentum of the task that your are doing. Bosch need to put the intake fan at the back, not the left or right side of the motor. I know I'm asking for re-engineering, but it would not be just a convenience , but a timesaver; by not having to stop what you are doing to unclog yourself.

Ive some reviews stating things like "too small" or "not enough power".I think some people are confused on the purpose of this blower. This IS NOT a leaf blower!This is a tool for carpenters, roofers ect who need to keep their work area clean after cutting or blow a roof deck area prior to laying roof paper. For this purpose its excellent, small is good for storing. Its just another great Bosch tool.
Overall good blower for garage and handyman projects. Not good for lawn work of course. Great weight and balance in my opinion. I’m happy with this although I do wish the price was a bit lower do to the cost of Bosch batteries or at least offered with a bundle. I would recommend this to acquaintances.
I have used this often after mowing the lawn or after a windy day to clean leaves or grass clippings off my concrete driveway. My street is crushed stone and it even blows away the stones that are tracked onto my driveway. I have multiple Bosch 18v tools so I didn't want another battery type or new chargers. This is the perfect light blower. The problem with other blowers is they are bulky and heavy. This blower is perfect for my needs.
The reconditioned model I received runs for a minute or two then abruptly stops. Not a battery issue as my Bosch 18v battery shows three green lights. I can turn it off then back on and it will run again for a minute or two. When it operates it runs fine, plenty of power for light duty. Not sure if my problem is based on a reconditioned unit or endemic to the tool. Am satisfied but not up to Bosch quality in my opinion.
1 star for design& 5 star for price.Although you can't complain for a charger,battery and blower for $80....the design of the blower: where you place your hand and reach up with your thumb to slide to switch, is about the dumbest design you could ever think of!Most likely, it was designed by a computer and not a human hand or brain!!Why do you think it was only $80 for the whole setup?Bosch, if you are reading this review, please tell the design team, to revamp how the on/off switch is placed. Then, accommodate all the consumers and let us send back the old blower and Bosch replaces it with the new designed blower, for free!Wishful thinking!
This is a great addition to anyone running the Bosch 18V platform. TheBOSCH-GBL18V is a hand held hurricane. Keeping to workshop or jobsite clear is everso more handy. This unit blew dust out of crevices of my 12" mitre saw even the airsweep didn't pick up! It's a game changer for those that are particular about their work environment. Honestly can't recommend this enough, paired it with my WC18V battery station so it's everready!
blower is powerful. but to get full power you need to use the 8ah battery. it's not gonna clear your front yard of leaves. but that's not what it's meant for. it's a dust blower. good run time on the 8ah battery. the hole blower is really great for clearing cement anchor bores.
