Even after extended listening sessions, the leather ear cups keep cool due to the soft padding. In addition, I like how the inside of the ear cups has a large L and R so that you can always put these earphones on correctly. The earphones are over-the-ear and highly comfortable. Due to the lightweight, flexible headband, soft ear cups, and the fact that they don't crush your ears, there is no irritation or overheating after prolonged use. On the right ear cup, you can adjust the volume, control music playback, pause and play your music, accept and end calls, and even activate Siri. Additionally, they are very tactile and effortless to distinguish—my favorite pair of headphones by far. FYI: The Bose QC35s are not water or sweat-resistant. If you're going for a short run, the headphones should be fine, but don't push them too hard. The Bose SoundSport Free wireless earbuds are better suited for vigorous workouts. Bose provides a one-year limited warranty for the QC35s, but since there is no official rating for water or sweat resistance, the warranty does not cover those damages.

First and foremost, the noise-canceling feature of the QuietComfort 35 is outstanding. It effectively blocks out external noises, allowing me to immerse myself fully in my music or audio without any distractions. Whether I'm on a busy commute or in a noisy environment, the active noise cancellation technology works like magic, creating a serene listening experience. The sound quality delivered by these headphones is truly remarkable. The audio is crisp, clear, and well-balanced across the entire frequency spectrum. Bass notes are punchy, vocals are rich and detailed, and the overall soundstage is wide and immersive. Whether I'm listening to my favorite music genres, watching movies, or enjoying podcasts, the QuietComfort 35 delivers an exceptional audio performance. Comfort is another area where these headphones truly shine. The earcups are plush and well-padded, providing a comfortable fit even during extended listening sessions. The adjustable headband ensures a secure and personalized fit for different head sizes. Additionally, the lightweight design allows for extended use without any discomfort or fatigue. The battery life of the QuietComfort 35 is impressive. With up to 20 hours of wireless playback and up to 40 hours when using the included audio cable, I rarely find myself needing to recharge them. The headphones also feature quick charging, providing approximately 2.5 hours of listening time with just a 15-minute charge, which is incredibly convenient. The Bluetooth connectivity of these headphones is reliable, allowing seamless pairing with multiple devices. The integrated microphone ensures clear voice quality during phone calls, and the controls on the earcup are intuitive and easy to use, providing convenient access to volume adjustment, track skipping, and voice assistants. One minor drawback of the QuietComfort 35 is the lack of customization options for sound profiles. While the default audio profile is excellent, some users may prefer the ability to tweak and personalize the sound to their preferences. In summary, the Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones are a top-tier choice for those seeking a premium listening experience. With exceptional noise cancellation, impressive sound quality, long battery life, and comfortable design, these headphones have quickly become my go-to option for immersive audio enjoyment. Whether you're a music enthusiast, frequent traveler, or someone who values both quality and comfort, the QuietComfort 35 headphones are definitely worth considering.

They work great until that AUX PCB stops working within a couple of months. For me it was 9 months. It is such a well known issue that you can find YouTube tutorials on how to replace the part with a soldering iron, and the replacement parts are currently sold out. If you are buying this buy the extended warranty. They are not long lasting and like the iPhone chargers BOSE wants them to break so you keep going back for more. Save yourself time and frustration and pick a different brand. Paying $400 for 9 months of use is insulting. I really wanted to like these but it's cheap parts with a brand name slapped on. Bose never disappoints me

So like others have said, these are pre-existing headphones with a mic attached and an addition of a desktop volume controller using USB for its attachment.Generally, I much prefer the sound that comes out of a dedicated sound card to anything USB as I have found that, for the most part, USB emulation can disappoint...to my ears, at least. That said, I have no regrets whatsoever getting this headset. It didn't hurt that Best Buy sweetened the deal by knocking the price down to $259 for about a week and if you can hold out for that sale price again (which happens every once in a while), pull the trigger at that point. You will not be disappointed. At all.The volume knob also has a separate button that allows you to hear your own voice if you want to (three levels of self-hearing), or you can mute your voice if you don't want to hear yourself at all. This doesn't create the sensation of feedback like you might get on a phone call or a Teams meeting, just a subtle self-voice saying that, yes, your mic is working. The noise canceling certainly doesn't hurt, and enhances the sound when turned on (though you don't HAVE to have it turned on in order for it to work). The mic is great quality. The comfort level is great. The sounds that come through for games is great. Music is amazing. The only thing I would put a con on is the uneven length of the cords...the USB connector is more than long enough to reach any USB port you need, but the cord going from the volume knob to the headset could have been lengthened somewhat, as sometimes I feel like I'm pulling the knob around if I move around too much.As Tom's Hardware might say...just buy it. But wait until a sale. I doubt these would disappoint you.

Good for gaming, great for everything else

I use these headphones only for gaming. Although sound quality is great, there are two annoyances when using these for gaming:1. Wireless connection has some latency issues, which means you will be using a wired connection if you don't want 200ms+ of audio lag. Indeed, wired connection has no lag but the sound quality (especially bass levels) are inferuior on the wired connection.2. The built-in microphone isn't too great in terms of sound quality, but what makes it worse is that it only works when connected wirelessly. You can't use the mic at all when it's connected via wire, even if you have all the proper wires/settings etc. A strange issue that caused me to spend extra money on a third party boom mic.Overall have been using these for over a year and a half ... MoreI use these headphones only for gaming. They arrived very quickly. Although they were refurbished, they came directly from Bose. I expect they would not send out something that was not up to their standards. Plus getting them refurbished I saved at least $200. Although I would suggest that you get their extended warranty (2 years) for only a couple bucks more. First off, they are extremely comfortable and sound great. I did have the same problems as most who have tried to pair these with Windows 10. Make sure all your drivers are up to date and don't use the default windows drivers for your audio, use the manufacturers drivers. If I use the headset, the sound is a lot louder, but they still keep losing their connection (sadly this is the one that sounded the best as well). It might be that they are drawing too much power from the bluetooth. The headphone setting works all the time, but it is considerably quieter. (maybe the next update to the drivers will fix this). I hope bose reads this review. Overall, I would definitely recommend these, they are fantastic. The battery seems to last at least as long as specified. I have not tried to track the actual time, but they have lasted up to aweek with moderate use.

Meanwhile, the Bluetooth headset of another brand I have used with the TV transmitter for over 5 yrs, still works perfectly.- The headset works really well with 2 paired connections (laptop and phone), but when you are able to add a 3rd paired device (e.g. TV), it becomes unreliable in switching to that device either through the phone app or using the headset switch. I have given up trying to use the QC35 II with the TV transmitter, and instead just use my old Bluetooth headset with the TV (sigh), and use the QC35 II only with my phone and laptop.

The product is awesome, I would buy it again

The product is a pair of black headphones with a power/ Bluetooth switch on the right side of the headphones. Also on the right side, is the volume and pause/play button. The purpose of this product is to play music or audio with great sound performance. My personal experience with the product was amazing. I have had this product for about a year and a half now. I feel like the sound quality offers more compared to Beats headphones and AirPods. My reason for saying this is because with Beats by Dre you feel every beat drop and with AirPods, the quality isn’t bad but in my opinion, it needs more work.Personally, I don’t really have that many cons of this product but, a couple of pros and cons are that yes they are noise-canceling so if you don’t like hearing outside ... MoreThe product is a pair of black headphones with a power/ Bluetooth switch on the right side of the headphones. Great sound quality compared to other headphones like Beats by Dre and Skullcandy, I found this product offering better sound performance. A helpful pro is that the headphones can fold which makes it easier for me to store them in my bookbag when I am traveling. A big con that I have about this product is that the padding for the ears did kept coming off, so I had to replace them a couple of times. For the overall product, it is accurate compared to the product description. My overall impression of the product is that I would give it a 9/10 only because of the padding part. I would definitely recommend this product to another customer. If I had enough money I would buy another pair for just work and keep my other one just for at home.

Truly Amazing Headphones

I had, and still have, the Bose QuietComfort 25s, which are still incredible headphones. They're not bluetooth which was fine when I get them. But I wanted to bluetooth to my laptop to listen to my music and Youtube, to my cell phone to listen to music and to take and make calls, and to ultimately connect to my TV. I purchased the 35 II. They're just as amazing as the 25's, but with bluetooth. The best part is I can make calls from my cell and no one can tell I'm actually using headphones to talk. The microphone(s) in the ear piece picks up my voice without having to talk louder. I called my friend in another state and didn't tell him I was not only using these headphones, but walked all over two levels of my house while my cell was on the kitchen table and he could ... MoreI had, and still have, the Bose QuietComfort 25s, which are still incredible headphones. I called my friend in another state and didn't tell him I was not only using these headphones, but walked all over two levels of my house while my cell was on the kitchen table and he could not tell I was on headphones. I told him after an hour that I was using headphone with no microphone in front of my mouth. He said he couldn't tell the entire time.I connected to my laptop and put on my favorite music and the sound is outstanding. The channel separation is great and I've heard instruments and singing in songs I've listened to for 40 years that I didn't know was there. I'm hearing my music in a whole new way.The Noise Cancelling is as perfect as I want. My wife can listen to the TV in the next room, which I can perfectly hear normally, and I hear nothing but what's coming through my headphones when I have the noise cancelling on. The best part is I can also not use bluetooth and plug directly into the audio jack of my phone or computer with the supplied connector. I've not had another brand to compare these to, but after reading many reviews, and my personal experience with other Bose products, I didn't even consider another brand. I bought these on sale before Thanksgiving for ~$180 which really made them a great buy. They are so good that I bought a second pair as a Christmas present for my son who I know will appreciate them as much as I do.It did take a little getting used to using the volume control on the right cup just because I'm not used to adjusting volume without seeing the controls, but that is minor. I haven't tried using Alexa while wearing the headphones so I can't comment on that although I will be experimenting soon.

It's nice to be un-tethered to my laptop... It's liberating to walk from my office to the kitchen and even bathroom while still listening to some interview or conference call with mic on mute. That liberty makes me wonder what took me so long to finally purchase this.. While on the phone and unplugged, there is a high frequency hiss from the microphone which is a little annoying... however I can hear my self very well to the slightest detail and the person on the other end can hear me very well also.. And of course I can hear the person much better than my entry level Sony smart phone headphones. While on the phone and unplugged, there is a high frequency hiss from the microphone which is a little annoying... however I can hear my self very well to the slightest detail and the person on the other end can hear me very well also.. And of course I can hear the person much better than my entry level Sony smart phone headphones. And let me tell you, the fact that I can be more present and hear my dad more clearly on a phone call whilst doing yoga is just priceless. It used to be that holding the phone up to the ear resulted in short conversations... Then headphones changed the game and made it more enjoyable and now these Bose headphones just upped the game to the point where I could listen to someone with more intention and attention. This is gold! Whilst in wireless phone call mode, you are not in noise reduction mode.. In fact you hear your surroundings clearly. I wish Bose gave you the option to customize the EQ of the mics.. That would help a lot. The other option is to use the stereo 1/8" to 1/16" adapter cable for the phone calls... this allows for noise reduction capabilities I think... one definitely doesn't hear the mic hiss like when in wireless mode. The noise reduction while listening to audio from the laptop can be disorientating at times.... it's amazing how for granted we take the basic association of the noise from things shuffling around as you move them. It's mostly the lower frequencies that get filtered out, and a lot of it has to do with how well the ear cup contacts around the ear and insulates exterior sound. Due to the disorientation factor I'm still deciding the right time and place for this device. However the fact that there's less noise makes it for a much better listening experience. To my surprise the headphones will auto shut-off if there is no audio playing from a connected device. This can be annoying if you're scrolling through social media and only engage a video's audio every once in a while. I honestly thought these would give me the option to just use the noise canceling feature all by it self so I can work in silence, but that is not so (unless I haven't figured it out yet). When I connected to my laptop which is exactly 40" from the headphones and then also connected to the cell phone 24" away and started a phone call, a wave of nausea hit me, which is a key indicator of 2.4GHz over exposure. I also have a bluetooth keyboard and trackpad which doesn't help with the EMI toxicity exposure issues. So now I just keep my tethered Sony headphones connected to the phone while I'm sitting at my office.... kind of silly to be shuffling around between headphones still, but the fact is I'm just very aware of the 2.4GHz exposure symptoms and have to keep it at a minimum. I've been exposed to a lot of EMI in my little electronics workshop and can tell you if it's too much.. It primarily manifests as slight nausea and then just loss of focus and lack of energy. It's important to be aware of this if one is to voluntarily add more EMI sources around their head. So far the Bose headphones by them selves are okay (tolerable) for radio emissions. The biggest plus with these headphones was that I can hear my dad better and feel like I'm right in the same room while on the phone. He could go on an on about how bad communist is, having grown up in Poland, and I want to hear every last little detail he can expound while he's still alive. Thank you Bose!
