The noise canceling feature works like a charm as well. The sound quality with these is exceptional and I am extremely pleased with it. While using the Bose Music companion app the headphones are able to be tailored to your preferences. The headphones last endlessly for hours and have replaced my airpods. I am really happy to have these and I highly recommend them. These might be the best headphones that I have ever used.

There is a reason you see Bose all over airports and traveling in general. At first, you are in disbelief on how quiet the outside world gets when putting on and firing up these headphones. If you are in a rush, these headphones can charge for 15 minutes and give you up to 2.5 hours of playback time. To accompany your headphones, the Bose Music app allows you to pair, and adjust sound controls to your liking in a simple, easy fashion. If you are Spotify user, pressing and holding the Action button, then pressing again to have Spotify offer music suggestions (This is all setup in the Bose Music app).Overall, I believe these are one of the best, if not the best noise cancelling headphones you can buy on the market. Bose has the history and reputation that they have worked hard to earn, and these headphones are the embodiment of this work. You will not be disappoint in these headphones!

I've been listening to music, podcasts, and watching movies with these Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Over The Ear Headphones for the past week and I am smitten with them. They have become my go to / primary dedicated headphones for listening. They are very comfortable for extended listening sessions. I've fallen asleep with them on, I am a side sleeper and they don't bother my ears. I don't fall asleep with headphones on often lol, but the couple times I have.. they did not bother my ears or sleep. Once I woke up with them on the floor, so I guess I knocked them off my head and they did not take any damage. Build quality is excellent, I wouldn't snooze with them everyday or just toss them in a bag without the case though. The headband is quite strong ... Build quality is excellent, I wouldn't snooze with them everyday or just toss them in a bag without the case though. The headband is quite strong and sturdy. I gave it the old twist / flex test and it doesn't creak at all or feel like it will break. The headband is actually a little flexible. I own quite a few sets of headphones and earbuds ( I won't mention brand names) But These Bose Quiet Comfort are quite possibly the best sounding headsets I've ever owned. My music library touches just about every genre, and it all sounds amazing with these headphones. I like to use the bass booster setting in the Bose app because I like to feel the bass a little, but I leave mids and treble at 0 and every note is loud and crispy clear. The bass does not completely overpower everything else but you can still feel the bass thumping on your temple a little.I think Bose has re-established themselves as the best in sound quality with these. I smile every time I hear a little note or sound I missed / didn't notice before with other headphones before. You definitely will not be disappointed with them. Battery life is excellent but they do take a lil while to charge. So I would recommend topping them off when they get between 20-40% if you plan on being away from a plug for a while. The right ear cup has volume controls, charging port and the power slider. The left ear cup has an AUX port and a button to toggle between "quiet and aware" modes.Would I recommend these headphones? For sure!I love them and would gladly buy another pair if I need to replace them.

The Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Canceling over the ear headphones are a must! I cannot believe the quality of these headphones and the big difference it has among other competitors. The headphones are light weight and are packaged in a black case with its charger and a wire to connect onto any device. Very smooth on the cushions and comfortable on the ear just like the name suggests. It blocks out almost all the background noise so the user can immerse themselves into the world of music or what they are watching. The device also recommends the Bose Music App, which allows you to customize the sound quality to your personal liking. They adjust very well and do not fall or move from the head even with doing hard cardio or workouts. Bose honestly always comes through with each release of a product but these are such a must for students. These headphones allow for study time without interruptions and gives you a moment of complete relaxation. I would definitely recommend these to any college student if they are able to pay that extra penny. It is a product that is worth its price and especially with the details it comes with.
They're back! These have been the standard for noise cancelling headphones for many years. I know many folks who swear by them. The active noise cancelling that Bose uses is about as top notch as it gets, and although I couldn't notice a more refined sound profile while the noise cancelling was enabled. What I did notice and really enjoy though - when noise cancelling is enabled, you can turn your music up to a quiet whisper. As someone who enjoys studying or doing some of my more intricate hobbies that require concentration, I can turn down the sound around me while also keeping the music low. Wonderful! The build quality on these is rather typical. Bose goes out of their way to make these headphones comfortable, but they're not made to be durable, so try to treat ... MoreThey're back! Wonderful! The build quality on these is rather typical. Bose goes out of their way to make these headphones comfortable, but they're not made to be durable, so try to treat them kindly. The headphones don't feel cheap, but you won't want to bend them all over the place either. If you haven't used the "Aware Mode" before, it's just like the transparency modes you'd find on competing audio solution. The difference though? This aware mode is refined. It doesn't sound hollow or artificial, the sound just seems a bit more "filtered". It's hard to describe, but it's a sound profile that doesn't bother my ears when listening to the world and my headphones at the same time. I was able to get around 20 some hours of audio out of these before the battery was critical, and the Bluetooth range on these is pretty decent - about 25ish feet inside my house.Small feature shoutout: The customizable shortcut button on these headphones? It's super cool. I have it set to shuffle Spotify and give me a random playlist, just by holding down the button for a moment. I'm using this all the time now! You can customize this feature in the app - there's also an equalizer in the app for anyone interested. All in all? If you've tested Bose's QuietComfort headphones before, you know you'll get great noise cancelling and clean audio. To everyone else, I recommend testing these out and seeing if the sound profile and noise cancelling fit your needs.
The Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones are a really great set of headphones. They fold for easy storage in the travel case. They also charge really fast and have great battery life. What’s important is that when I’m off the call, I also listen to music to do actual work. This is where Bose comes in with their offerings of this noise cancelling over the ear headphones. These headphones are folding headphones which fit very compactly in it’s rigid carrying case. The soft leather and plushy makeup of the headphone cushions help seal around your ears while also being breathable to the skin for longer wear sessions. The clamp pressure on my head I find is reasonable and keeps them from moving around with normal use. The same material and plush is also on the head rest and go mostly unnoticed, although I currently have a lot of hair helping it out, still very comfortable.I’m surprised at how much I actually missed having buttons that are easily identifiable and placed intuitively so you can quickly find and do the thing you want to do. On the right earcup is where you’ll find most of the action. Volume up, volume down, and a center button that does the play, pause, back, skip functions with single, double, and triple presses. You can push and hold to get your phones voice assistant as well. There’s a power switch on the outside of the cup which also acts as a pairing switch. On the left is your noise canceling toggle and a long press will give you battery life via a voice feedback. All of these are very easy to find as your finger naturally falls into the ridge that runs from front to back where the headband connects to the ear cuffs. It’s also comforting not to be overwhelmed with similar feel buttons that you have to memorize or through trial and error, hit the ones a few times before you find the right one.The sound is fantastic. I like to preface that I’m not an audiophile but do enjoy music while I’m working, exercising, or doing house work. I prefer headphones that favor a heavier bass sound while still coming in crisp at higher volumes. I was not disappointed in the volume or quality of sound. At higher volumes the sound stage comes across loud and clear, you get the deep rumble of the bass while other instrumentals are balanced behind it. It helps me to find my sound preference by having an EQ on the Bose Music app. While you’re not spoiled for choice, there are a few presets you can select to increase or decrease Bass and Treble. The only downside is you’re only given 3 sliders to adjust the sound. This is probably good for most but I’d at least like to have the option to do more fine tuning.Noise Canceling works well. I’ve compared them to a few other noise canceling devices and it seems to be on-par with those. Over the ear headphones, because of things like glasses, hair, head shape and size, can be very subjective because those things affect the amount of ambient sound that make it to the ear. The soft plushy ear cushions help but they’re not perfect and that’s ok. The headphones work great to drown out the cat’s water fountain, the hum of the refrigerator, and other noises your home makes without you knowing it to provide nearly perfect silence. You do get some of the pressure that is felt from noise canceling, I did notice that it seemed a bit more prominent in that department but not uncomfortable. What it does well is the aware setting which allows sound around you to feel more natural and not muffled as if you’re wearing headphones. The ear cuffs each have two grill cutouts which I would assume house the microphones that make all of this possible and blend in nicely with the headphone design. The Bose Music app aside from an EQ also allows control of all kinds of other features. You can use the app to change from quiet to aware modes. Also, because these support multi-point connection, you can toggle between your paired devices manually (they do this automatically, depending on which device is playing music). You can also toggle the shortcut button to use functions of Spotify instead of switching noise canceling modes. Then there’s other settings which allow you to control auto-power off timer, firmware update, toggling voice prompts, how much of your self you can hear in a call, as well as other options and support. As for build quality, there’s a lot of plastic on these which is necessary to provide lightweight comfort, but there’s metal where it counts. The headband appears to be reinforced with metal and the main hinges for folding the headphones are metal as well. The plastic doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy and I would imagine it would live up to some abuse. My final thoughts: The included case is small enough to easily throw into a carry on bag or backpack. It has an inside pocket for storing cables and the inner lining is soft. The included headphone cable matches the color of the headphones which is a nice touch. I did find that I couldn’t charge and play music at the same time which seems like an easy enough thing to do but a lot of headphones, for what I can only assume is technical reasons, don’t do this. These headphones look great, sound great, offer good noise canceling, intuitive controls. Easy to recommend.
The fact that Bose is still selling 2021's QC45 at $329 on their website is a testament to the staying power of their products. The QuietComfort series has been good for a very long time, and up until Sony released the WH1000MX3 headphones, Bose was the leader in over-ear noise-canceling headphones. I'm a long time fan of the QuietComfort series from Bose but also a daily user for the last several years of Sony's Mark3 and Mark4 headphones...so, that is to some degree a point of comparison. There are a lot of things that Bose got right with this next generation of QC headphones.I've become more impressed over the last few years when companies provide good unboxing experiences in sustainable packaging (or at least, far more sustainable than it once was). As a person who keeps the original packaging for many of my tech products, I appreciate durable packaging that isn't too flashy or overproduced. It's just right.Bose also still provides a hard clamshell case for transporting your headphones. They fold up to about as small as they can to remain flat. Also in the case is an auxiliary cable with inline microphone and a USB-C charging cable; both cables are on the shorter side but they definitely do the trick. It's also worth mentioning that the aux cable can be used without using any power--so a dead battery doesn't have to stop the music. The design of these new QCs are what I would consider 'classic' Bose, the sort of Ford F-150 of headphone designs. It's a good design that continues to look great despite not changing substantially over previous generations. There are no touch controls, which is wonderful. Physical buttons on the right cup control volume and track/call actions, and a separate physical switch powers the headphones and enables pairing. On the left cup is a single button that can be used to enable noise canceling, as well as provide battery levels OR trigger a Spotify shortcut. It would have been nice if that button could be used to alternatively trigger a digital assistant. They are very comfortable, as QCs have been for generations. They are about 20 grams lighter than my Sony WH1000XM4 headphones, which isn't particularly noticeable. The clamping pressure at my jaw line is a little more than I like, but it's not so much that it's an issue. Most notably, the ear cups have slightly more room than my XM4s, so my ears don't come into contact with the mesh backing. The foam cups feel great and are easily removed (so presumably replaceable). The only minor discomfort comes by way of material that doesn't breath particularly well, so sometimes my ears get a little sweaty. The sound on the QCs is excellent, but not excellent for every type of music. Bose has been strong for middle frequencies for a long time, and that is the case here as well. You're not going to get a booming bass experience, but there's enough bass to satisfy. Middle and higher range vocals shine brightly; audio is crisp provided the volume isn't at maximum. Classic rock sounds great, as would most modern pop music, but bass heavy tracks lack a little bit of depth (it's in this department that the XM4 continues to be a great alternative).Noise canceling is stellar. I remember when noise canceling first came to the QC product line, it was so good it made me motion sick. I've since adjusted as ANC has become pretty ubiquitous in consumer high-end headphones, but the new QCs are just as good as any other noise canceling I've experienced. There have been some updates to the Bose companion app since I last used it, and I'm liking what is available there. Custom levels of ANC can be configured based on your preference, as well as custom EQ settings. The headphones also support multi-point connection, allowing for handoff between devices somewhat seamlessly. These headphones retail at $349, which is about as much as the latest-generation QC headphones have always been. Despite the fact that everything seems to be getting more expensive, these QCs are right in line with previous generations. If you don't already have a pair of consumer-level high end headphones, these are most certainly worth the investment and will probably last easily for several years. Even after the battery doesn't hold a charge (and, it's worth pointing out, I don't know how many hours the battery is rated for), they can still be used wired.
These Bose QuietComfort Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones are a great choice for anyone looking for comfortable, noise-canceling headphones. They really do live up to the name QuietComfort as I find the noise-canceling feature to work well and the over-the-ear cups to be very soft and supple. I use headphones regularly for work and leisure so comfort and quality are both a must.I downloaded the Bose Music app in the Play Store and I appreciate being able to adjust the EQ of my audio on the QuietComfort headphones. I was able to tweak the bass, mid range, and treble to bring out the best in the music I listen to. Personally, I just like having Quiet and Aware mode to toggle between to quickly be able to shut out external noise or be aware of my surroundings. I can definitely hear a difference when I switch between Aware and Quiet modes. Quiet mode really gets rid of sounds like air conditioning or the dishwasher. It’s so nice to be able to shut off or greatly diminish all those sounds in my small home and just focus on the audio. I’m excited to take these with me on plane rides in the near future.Comfort is a must, especially as a glasses wearer, and I will say these headphones are so soft and the pressure is just right. My ears fit very well in them and unlike other over-the-ear headphones, my ears don’t touch any hard pieces inside the ear cups. I also appreciate the very clear L and R markings in the ear cups so I can easily put them on the right way. The left headphone has a singular button which toggles between the modes that can be configured in the app. The right headphone has a power switch that also activates Bluetooth connectivity, the charging port, and a set of 3 buttons which control volume and playback. I chose the headphones in “white smoke” which looks like a warm gray, a very modern color choice.Connecting via Bluetooth was simple and fast. I was able to connect the QuietComfort headphones to my Google phone with no issues. This set of Bose headphones comes with a hard case, auxiliary cable, and charging cable. I love the flexibility of going between a wireless and corded connection because I’m able to plug into an audio interface and listen while I record audio files.Bose proves to be a great brand that delivers high quality products. Overall, I really like the fit and audio quality of these Bose QuietComfort headphones. The battery lasts over 20 hours which has been wonderful because I’ve only had to charge them once so far since receiving them. They are super comfortable and sound great. I can definitely recommend this pair of over-the-ear headphones.
These Bluetooth headphones are awesome. They have great bass and treble sound. I can turn all the way up without any distortion that I get with other leading brands. I tried this with my cellphone out in the nearby park where there were families and kids yelling while playing. When I put them on and played my favorite music and one episode of my current series I was watching I didn’t hear the kids at all. I sat back and felt like I was in my own world. At one point I had forgotten I was in the park with kids playing nearby. These headphones allowed me to be fully submerged into my entertainment. I really enjoyed myself. The next morning I was using then while riding along in a friend’s Truck. There were three of us and after I put on these headphones and picked one ... MoreThese Bluetooth headphones are awesome. The next morning I was using then while riding along in a friend’s Truck. There were three of us and after I put on these headphones and picked one of my favorite songs to listen to I couldn’t hear them having a conversation. I was completely in my comfort zone. Later on in the afternoon I had my tv playing a series and I had the volume up to 70 and I played a movie from one of my favorite streaming sites. I wasn’t able to hear the series playing on my tv. This is my first time using this brand and I can say it’s far more superior than other popular brands I’ve used. It was an easy set up with the app and connecting my new Bose headphones super fast. I would definitely recommend these Bluetooth headphones.
