I work from home and live in town where it can get pretty noisy during the day, so really needed a pair of good noise cancelling headphones to drown out the noise of the traffic and such. My favorite starred setting when working is Quiet Mode which provides exceptional Acoustic Noise Cancelling, and I found that my production increased due to being able to concentrate more on my work by not hearing all the distracting noises that entail with working from home. When I'm not working, I love to watch movies and listen to music with my Bose surround sound system, and glad that I can easily switch between devices and pair my new headphones with my sound bar as this especially helps when it's late at night and don't want to disturb or wake others. My favorite setting for movies and music is Immersion Mode which takes it to another level of complete bliss where the music literally wraps you up and sweeps you away! I'm so impressed with the quality of sound, it's so crisp and clean! The Bose app. is a must for set-up since there's no paper manual provided. There are so many cool features, tips, and shortcuts available in the app. to where you can customize your headphones to your liking and needs, such as the Equalizer (EQ) where you can add more or less Bass & Treble. I like that I can be listening to music and able to receive phone calls, which pause my song and then resume playing after my call. Very cool and convenient Sleep/Wake features, where the headphones automatically go into sleep mode when I take them off and then wake up when you put them on, and automatically powers off after 24hrs. of inactivity all while saving battery life. There are some things to be mindful of, such as the recommended safe handling suggests placing your hands around the middle of each earcup when removing from and putting back in case as this helps keep fingers away from the hinges, so they don't get pinched. It is also not recommended to use headphones near water or moisture of any kind and to clean with a dry cloth only! I knew that Bose would have the best pair of headphones available that would meet my needs and expectations and beyond, and they have always been my number one choice and have been very happy with all their products that I've purchased over the years. Bose also has exceptional and knowledgeable customer service agents to help with all your needs and concerns. I highly recommend these headphones and all Bose products to friends, family, and to all music lovers out there! There's no comparison when it comes to Bose, they are simply the best!

I was very excited to be selected for this campaign, I had been looking for a premium over ear headphones for a little while and these seem to fit the bill.My first impressions unboxing was very good. The packaging is good and the headphones come with a very nice carry case which normally you have to buy as an accessory so very pleased with that. The headphones also come with two leads a USB-C cable for charging and a 2.5mm to 3.5mm audio jack so that you are not forced with bluetooth only like other manufacturers which is very useful for me. That said when these headphones arrived, I was a little disappointed with how they look in black, I should have gone for either the white smoke or the sandstone versions as for me they look far more premium and stand out, ...Ā MoreI was very excited to be selected for this campaign, I had been looking for a premium over ear headphones for a little while and these seem to fit the bill.My first impressions unboxing was very good. That said when these headphones arrived, I was a little disappointed with how they look in black, I should have gone for either the white smoke or the sandstone versions as for me they look far more premium and stand out, alas I received the black pair which look good but just fades in with all the other headphones, you would be forgiven for not noticing them. When I first held the headphones I was surprised how light they were and yet they still felt sturdy. The metal wings (no idea what they are called) at the base of the headband transform the feel to being a quality product in opposed to being too plastic and too light giving a cheap feeling. The headphone have really good sound quality which can be tailored with easy using the simple to use software. You can fine tune the audio by means of either pre-sets or individually changing the EQās.My primary feature with any headphones is noise cancelling and outside transparency. I read that these headphones had class leading ANC so for me again a no brainer. However my experience was somewhat more underwhelming, I found that the Noise cancelling let through far too much sound and noises which my other headphones (on-ear and 2 x ear buds) seems to deal with and give much better results. Two of my devices are over 3 years old so not cutting edge in any way and also cost less than the RRP of these Bose and yet they seem to cut out more noise. The other part of this is the audio transparency, this I was very much impressed with and for me meets the hype and is a redeeming factor. From a comfort perspective these are excellent which can only be down to the weight of the product. Whilst the product in my opinion doesnāt look premium (especially not in black) the way it feels certainly does which means you can use these for hours at a time without discomfort.Using the headphones is simple and they connect to paired devices seamlessly however they could be better. I found using the bluetooth/power/pairing button not intuitive as I needed to check the instructions to ensure I knew how to operate it correctly especially as I had these paired with more than one device. I feel an extra button might make this proposition simpler and more intuitive to use. The other button is the play/pause/fwd/rwd/Audio mode button I found no issues with this setup and worked well. Finally this leaves the touch sensitive volume slider and custom action button. The volume slider does help give the headphone a premium feel and works very well. All in all these are very good headphones, brilliant sound and a very nice package. However, the first question is āWould you recommend this product to a friend?ā I initial selected āYesā but the answer is more complicated than that. Yes they are very good headphones but they need to be with the strong RRP. I would seriously question the RRP, I feel that the design especially in Black is too safe and a little on the dull side, there is too much plastic with a fiddly power button that doesnāt feel as nice as the other buttons. Then there is the noise cancelling which I feel at the RRP point is not good enough. If the ANC is your main reason for selecting the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones then I canāt recommend these especially not at this RRP. That said if ANC is not a priority and lower the RRP then these headphones seem a better prospect. A prospect I could recommend.

The build quality on Bose QC Ultra's is outstanding ā the aluminium connecting the headband to the ear cups combined with the ultra-soft headband covering make the headphones feel really premium. The fit is equally impressive with the headphones sitting snugly, without excessive clamping force on your head ā so far Iāve been able to wear them for several hours at a time without any discomfort. The controls on the headphones are mercifully simple with only a Bluetooth connection button (which can also be used to force the headphones on and off if you donāt want to use the autosensing function) and a button to switch between sound modes, so you're not fumbling around wondering if you've pressed the right button. There is also a touch sensitive volume control strip on the earcup but this requires a little practice to get the hang of. Turning on the headphones immediately produced a prompt on my phone to connect and download the companion app and create a Bose account. The whole process was very streamlined and it was less than a minute before I was into the app and listening to music. The noise cancelling on the QC Ultra is hands-down the best Iāve experienced. If you havenāt experienced noise cancelling before it can be a bit of a shock when the world around you appears to vanish into almost complete silence and the QC Ultras live up to Boseās reputation for being market leaders at noise cancellation. Itās not just about shutting the world out though, the āAwareā mode makes interacting with people in busy settings a lot easier as it continues to suppress background noise while allowing you to hear someone talking to you nearby (or hear an approaching siren, car beeping etc). The sound quality is also top-notch, producing a very tight, well-balanced sound. You can tinker with the sound settings using the mobile app but right out of the box theyāre extraordinarily well-rounded. Immersive audio is a nice feature ā it doesnāt work in every genre but when it does work it sounds great. Speak-to-chat is also a nice touch if youāre out and about but probably needs a bit of polishing so you donāt keep accidentally activating it. The Bose QC Ultra are the best headphones Iāve used. The build and sound quality is superb, the noise cancellation is market leading and not only makes listening to music a more pleasing experience, it is useful in busy or very noisy environments. I canāt recommend these highly enough and look forward to using mine for many years to come.

These headphones outperform in comfort and noise cancelling, a real boon on the noisy London Underground.I found the NC700s a cinch to keep in top shape with their replaceable cushions, and Iām hoping for a repeat with the Ultras over time. While I miss decking out my NC700s with a full shell skin from XtremeSkins UKāmore for saving them from scratches than just for kicksāIām eager to see what companies like Dbrand or XtremeSkins roll out for the Ultras. The QuietComfort Ultras bring the audio quality up a notch with Snapdragon Sound-certified Lossless Audio, which is a serious step up from the NC700s and I can confirm having owned them for years. The sound, particularly the bass, feels richer and fuller, even though theyāre working with the same drivers as the NC700s. I believe that fact Bose already had a lot of experience with them and they proven to be very reliable alongsite the feedback from the online community has helped Bose make this my favourite sounding, comfortable to wear day to day over-head headphones I keep using, even thought I still remain carrying Quietcomfort IIs as a back-up or when I was to be a little bit discreet in Central London for my safety.Spatial Audio is more than just a fancy new trickāitās genuinely refreshing when you re-listen to all your favourite tracks with these, and the āAware Modeā nails the balance between being lost in your music and staying alert to your surroundings which is now in pair with what Apple offers in their headphones. The newly added head detection feature which was absent on my Nc700s cleverly avoids any accidental pauses and it seems to work primarly on the right hand side cup, so when you need too you can still take one cup off your ear for a second without any disturption to your music and the overall music immersion. Moving from NC700s I was missing the assistant button and threw me off at first, however simplified control scheme grew on me over time and now it feels a bit like a testatment to physical buttons on Bose Quietcomfort headphones with a toutch of a modern design which I started to like very much.In a world where options like the Sony WH1000Xm5, Sennheiser Momentum 4, and even a bit more expensive and much heavier Apple AirPods Max these are definitely varying for attention to potential buyers. Quite a big disctinction from the competition is that they keep tge Bose USB Link compatibility which was a known feature on NC700s and being able to use the same USB dongle really sets QuietComfort Ultras apart from the convienence standpoint for me in this price range for seamless video calls which started to be an important part of our every day life ever since the pandemic. Having owned Bose USB Link since its release I was very much pleased that I continue using this addon every day at work.I use Bose USB link primarly for work and other online meetings. However when I pair these Creative W5x USB-C dongle oj my personal laptop for that sweet Aptx Adaptive sound listenining to maxed-out Lossless Hi-Fi music without a cable, itās clear I these leave my NC700s in the dust and feel like a future. Considering that Ultras use the same drivers that my old NC700s had the sound has been tuned to perfection and you just need to experience your favourite track with APTx Adaptive codec and Snapdragon sound to really hear it.I'm nudging Bose to keep the updates rolling, like they did with the dual-bud feature for the QuietComfort Earbuds II. And hey, adding APTx support to Quietcomfort Earbuds IIs knowing that they have capability of having that would be a cherry on topālots of chatter about that on the Bose subreddit after it was initiqlly believed that it would happen this year. As a happy Bose Quietcomfort II, owner I was a bit dissapppointed with the release of nearly identical Quietcomfort Ultras with same drivers at a very similar retail price to your existing more than capable earbuds. I can only hope that this wasn't just a marketing decision and I hope you can make this up Bose!!All in all, the QuietComfort Ultras are a solid bet for anyone eyeing the premium headphone market, ready to compete with the big names. Having them since day one in the UK, thanks to a prompt delivery just past October 10th, Iām set for the long haul. They're the kind of upgrade that makes a long-time Bose fan like me nod in approval and recommend without a second thought. I would be keeping these for years ahead as my go-to headphones for commuting, flying, work meetings and overall day to day use all things considered and will be assured that they will keep working and if anything I can always reach out to Boseās amazing customer support directly to resolve any potential problems in pair with customer service Apple offers.

Those three things are: Sound quality, how comfortable they are to wear for long periods of time, and how useful the features/technology are/is in terms of making my usage experience better. Great technology that doesnāt make the headphones sound better and easier to use is almost pointless in my opinion.I work from home and work 12 to 14 hours a day, I sell Engineering Software, meaning I am on Microsoft Teams/Zoom video calls/Meetings, and traditional phone calls all day with Engineers and their Managers. When I am not talking, I like to listen to music as I work, mostly Jazz. I live for great music, and consider myself a bit of a music aficionado, and or audiophile if you will. So quality reproduction of the music as the artist intended for us to hear it is very important to me.I have had these headphones on my head each day for at least 16 to 17 hours when I combine my usage for work with my personal usage after work, and I can honestly say that the fit is the most comfortable pair of headphones I have ever worn. The cushioning is light while around your ears, yet durable feeling at the same time. The battery life lives up to the claims and beyond, which is a very good quality, you can really get your daily long hours use out of them. The fact that the headphones can be connected simultaneously to two devices using the Bose Music App is a great feature for me because I can be listening to music from my phone or through Alexa and also be connected to my work laptop and have the ability to switch between them seamlessly, the technology built into the headphones automatically stops the music and answers a phone call or video call on my laptop, then resumes the music when I end the call. Additionally, any number of other Bluetooth Devices can be quickly connected with a toggle within the Bose Music App as well, creating quick and easy connections to all of your devices. The noise cancellation is second to none. Nothing going on around me can be heard by people on the other end of the call, moreover, also making the sound that you hear flawless without the intrusion of outside noise. The buttons have a very good tactile feel and are simple and easy to use, not overly complicated to access the many functions. A simple one, two or three click to maneuver through songs and/ or pause while listening to music, or a quick click to answer or end a call. It also has a small slightly recessed area to slide your finger either up or down to adjust the volume. Honestly, these are good improvements over the touch/feel of maneuvering through things with the other headphones and earbuds. The most important feature of the headphones is how GREAT the music sounds. I own the Bose Noise Cancelling 700 Headphones, Quiet Comfort Earbuds, and QC Earbuds II, so my bar for sound quality is pretty high. These New Quiet Comfort Ultra Headphones take the sound quality of the music to the next level with the addition of Immersive Audio this feature makes you feel that the music is all around you with depth, it is the closest reproduction to Live music being played right in front of you or all around you I have ever experienced. The one and only thing that I dislike about this feature is that the Bass doesnāt seem to have the exact same punch as when this feature is off. I am truly splitting hairs here trying to find something to dislike about this feature when compared to the regular sound.I hope I have given you some important Pros as to make for compelling reasons to consider purchasing these headphones. Quite honestly, I had to search for things to dislike about these headphones and didnāt want to create some small things just to have some dislikes/Cons to make my review āseemā more balanced. I have a very high bar when it comes to justifying spending money on headphones, and these Quiet Comfort Ultra Headphones pass with flying colors!I will continue to use these for hours and hours a day and be sure to add to my review in order to be as helpful as possible to those that may be considering purchasing these headphones. As of now, I would highly recommend purchasing these headphones. These are the S-Class of Bose Headphones, for sure!
I love a great pair of headphones and these easily fit into the great category. In my 40's and dealing with TMJ I found my old pair to be too heavy, too much of a clamp force and I'm no longer a huge fan of extreme bass like I once was- and the more I turned down the bass on those I realized the overall sound quality to be mediocre at best. I tried several headphones in my search for the best and discovered there is no perfect set of headphones but these come close. Their lightweight, comfort and sound quality are what have me keeping these. I do not think you can find a better pair of bluetooth headphones, you might find a pair that sound a hair better but the difference is pretty subjective where the comfort is not. Their lightweight, comfort and sound quality are what have me keeping these. I do not think you can find a better pair of bluetooth headphones, you might find a pair that sound a hair better but the difference is pretty subjective where the comfort is not. A pair of BO for double the price- also a very nice pair of headphones, which I feel sound slightly better across the board than these quickly have me wanting these Bose after wearing for a couple hours. The Apple's for just a hundred more also sound subjectively a little better but the weight and clamp force after an hour is insane. Also when I say these other headphones sound a little better I mean truly a little, you probably would not notice a difference unless you literally had them side by side and were looking for subtle differences. I do not think with all things considered you can find a better pair of headphones. These are however not perfect- the not so perfect issue's are for as comfortable as they are I find myself constantly adjusting them for the first few minute's each time I put them on to get that perfect feeling fit, like an earlobe is in the way. Never had a pair of headphones that needed to be adjusted like this every time I put them on but these are them. Also the auto detect that is supposed to pause the headphones when removed is mediocre and you will likely want to just turn this feature off in the app otherwise you may encounter your music pausing every thirty seconds for a second which will have you thinking it's the bluetooth cutting out, almost returned these before realizing it was the autodetect and not the bluetooth. Noise cancellation is awesome, and where I found myself in years past to be bothered by the cabin pressure feeling Bose is known for I have to say it's not really an issue for me with these. The transparency mode is great, not as great as Apple but it's close and far better than what even a $1000 pair of Bang %26 Olufsen headphones can do. The immersive audio is pretty great, sounds amazing on some stuff and not so much on other stuff. The effect with Bose is more immersive than with Apple- so when it shines it really is awesome but other times I'll turn it off as it doesn't sound very natural. With Apple I find you can turn it on and I don't have the need to turn it off. Apple played it safe by not making the immersive effect as extreme. Overall truly a great pair of headphones I can wear for a few hours of enjoyment!
As an owner of the Bose QC 35 II headphones, I was excited to try out the latest offering in their series, the Quiet Comfort Ultra. Overall, I think the Ultra is a significantly better headphone than the 35 II, but I feel that the quality of materials used in some places donāt quite live up to the premium price tag.Sound quality: To me the sound quality is very good to excellent. I performed so A/B comparisons between the Ultra and 35 II and I will say that the sound from the Ultra is significantly better. Individual instruments stand out much more in the Ultra. I also like that the Bose app now lets you customize the EQ for the headphones. There are a few presets, but I personally preferred the sound when I increased the mid and treble frequencies.Noise ...Ā MoreAs an owner of the Bose QC 35 II headphones, I was excited to try out the latest offering in their series, the Quiet Comfort Ultra. There are a few presets, but I personally preferred the sound when I increased the mid and treble frequencies.Noise cancellation: Noise cancellation has always been one of the selling points of Bose headphones and I donāt think the Ultra will disappoint anyone. While I mostly use my headphones in an office environment that isnāt very loud, it certainly helps drown out the frequencies from the AC system. I havenāt had a chance to use them on an airplane yet, so I canāt comment on how they work in a harsh environment. I do like the app allows you to customize how much noise cancellation is active. The highest level of noise cancellation causes a pressure irritation in my ears, so I am glad that I can take it down a level and still have a good amount of noise cancellation without the pressure.Call quality: Since I primarily use the headphones at my office, I have made a few Zoom calls with them. While I cannot comment on how my voice sounded to other participants, I was very happy with the quality of audio I heard from the other attendees.Standby mode: The addition of automatic standby mode is a feature that I am very glad to see included. There have been numerous occasions where I accidentally left my headphones powered on overnight, only to find they were out of power the next day. Now with the automatic standby mode, I donāt need to worry about it. They just go into standby mode after a bit of inactivity.Build quality: This is the one area I am a little disappointed in. While I wouldnāt say it is worse than my QC 35IIās, I will say that they arenāt quite up to the level of some of the premium headphones you get from Bowers and Wilkins or the Apple AirPod Max. I found that some of the plastic on headphones shell feels a little cheap compared to the ones from those brands. Also, I have noticed a few creeks when I pushed the multifunction button and folded up the headphones.
The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones sounds quite amazing. They can get very loud, it has 3 modes for listening ā Quiet, Aware, and Immersion. I use the Immersion setting and tweaked the EQ a bit to my listening pleasure. With Immersive Audio, there are 3 features you can enable ā Off, Still, or Motion. I set mine to Motion, so it tracks the direction your head movement and always puts the sound almost like if the stage was always in front of you. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones can connect to 2 devices at the same time, I have it set up to my TV and phone. The build quality seems very good, the ear cushions are leather with memory foam, it has some metal accents and plastic as well, the earcups can be folded to lay flat on a surface and bend inwards for ...Ā MoreThe Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones sounds quite amazing. The build quality seems very good, the ear cushions are leather with memory foam, it has some metal accents and plastic as well, the earcups can be folded to lay flat on a surface and bend inwards for easy storage. The battery life is less than average, you can get about 18 to 24 hours of listening time, my experience on Immersive Audio is closer to 16 hours. You can charge these headphones via USB-C, no wireless charging mechanism. It has a simplistic design, with just 2 buttons, one is the Bluetooth/Power Button, and the other is the Media Control that you can use for to skip/pause/play/rewind. You can adjust the volume by sliding your finger on the volume strip. All the controls are located on the right ear cup. You can also assign a Shortcut to the volume strip. As far as connectivity goes, you must download the Bose Music app to use/enable features. I am not able to see the battery life on the device I use, or set up the features through Bluetooth settings, unless I specifically use the Bose Music app. The fit will be different for everyone, for me they have a tight fit and can become uncomfortable after prolonged use. The noise cancelling feature is good, I wish they will include a feature to turn the noise cancelling off if it detects you are having a conversation with someone, as it stands if you take the headphones off whatever you are viewing/listening to pauses ā but not always the case, it fails to detect this sometimes. You need to press the Media Control button to switch between modes or use the Bose Music app. Lastly, the carrying case is a bit tricky, you have to fold the headphones a certain way and place them correctly into the indentations in the carrying case, if not it wonāt close, these are not the type that you can just fold and quickly insert into the case. Quite an expensive product, good build quality and decent sound, with so-so battery life.
These are absolutely some of the best Noise Canceling Headphones you can get right now. BOSE created the field of ANC Headphones many, many years ago and these new Quiet Comfort Ultra headphones prove they are still at the top of the class when it comes to high quality headphones with amazing sound and comfort and mindblowing active noise cancellation. These are on par with the Apple AirPods Max and the best ANC Headphones from Sony and others.First, lets talk sound. The quality of sound you get from these headphones is audiophile quality. I previously had a pair of AKG ANC Headphones and these are such a huge leap over those. These are on par with the Apple AirPods Max and the best ANC Headphones from Sony and others.First, lets talk sound. The quality of sound you get from these headphones is audiophile quality. Music is crisp, dialogue is clear, and the bass is nice and smooth. Right out of the box without any adjustments I could already hear the superior audio quality from these. Listening to familiar songs through these headphones was like listening to them for the first time because I could hear every instrument. But BOSE didn't just stop with high quality speakers in the headphones - the built in software to really take listening to the next level. Besides the standard stereo mode, they also included two versions of immersive listening modes - one that includes head tracking. And let me tell you, the immersive listening mode is not just a gimmick - it really does take the listening experience to a whole new level. I absolutely love their implementation. It truly sounds like you are standing in the middle of the room and the music is all around you. And with the head tracking mode, it gives you the feeling that you're at a live concert and the band is on the stand and you're front and center. These headphones are also great for watching movies or having phone conversations as every sound comes through rich and clear.Second, let's talk about the Active Noise Cancellation. As I mentioned, BOSE really spearheaded that technology and the QC Ultra headphones prove they are still at the top of the game. The noise cancelling on these is amazing! You can be in a loud environment and experience complete quiet serenity hearing nothing but what you play through the headphones. I'm genuinely blown away by how awesome these are. And you can adjust the level of Active Noise Cancelling easily in the app or you can turn on the ambient listening mode that uses the mics on the headphones to make sure you hear everything rather than block out everything if you need to do that. They really made sure the Active Noise Cancelling on these was not only the best in the business but also that you could make it work for you, the way you need it to in any situation. When it comes to style and comfort, BOSE spared no expense on making sure these headphones look great and feel great. The earmuffs are extremely soft and comfortable and can be worn for long periods of time without bothering me. I love the folding design that makes them easy to pack into the molded case and throw in a carry-on bag or backpack. I chose the white color which is more of an ivory than a true white and I love them - they stand out and look great! The control designs on these are simple and brilliant. One button to turn them on/off, one button to control play, and a slick touch slider for volume control or calling up your phone/tablet assistant! The bluetooth button rarely needs to be used because these also have auto-sensing built in. When you remove the headphones for more than a few minutes they automatically go into standby mode - if you put them back on they automatically go into active mode. If the headphones are in standby mode for an extended period they will cut of completely for you. (You can also set up in the app to have whatever your watching or listening to automatically pause/play when you take them off and put them back on - brilliant!). The multi-function button is easy to use via 1-press, 2-press, 3-press commands and only having one button I have found is great because with my old headphones sometimes I'd press the wrong button but that won't happen with these. Then on the smaller part of the earmuff is a slightly raised line that controls volume by sliding. your finger on it or triggers a customizable shortcut (like calling up Siri, or cycling through immersive listening modes) by long pressing it.In addition to all these features the accompanying BOSE app lets you customize the headphone experience even further, fine tuning the noise cancellation, setting up custom equalizer settings, and creating various modes that you can easily switch between when the headphones are on by long pressing the multi-function button. The headphones also include sound cues and spoken voice prompts to help you know the battery level, and the status of the headphones while wearing them. These headphones are just absolutely amazing - I couldn't be happier with them. There are maybe one or two other companies with headphones in the same class as these, but I don't think anyone can claim to be better. BOSE has really knocked it out of the park with these QuietComfort Ultra headphones and as far as I'm concerned is back on the the top of the Active Noise Cancelling Headphone market.
