I've had these for a few years now, and I really like them. They're not amazing but they are great. I'm not a audiophile that can pick up every detail of sound but I do love some good quality. The quality of sound is clear and crisp for these headphones. The bass is okay, the midst and highs are nice. They fit snug in my ear and I never feel like they're going to fall out. It's pretty expensive to replace a tiny plastic part, so I've decided not to replace it. I use them mostly for drowning out noise in my office and for talking on the phone. The voice part of the earphones are okay. The quality of phone calls are not great, and the mic is pretty sensitive. It picks up a lot of my movement and noise I make around me. I'll have to switch to speaker phone at times, because it can be unbearable. Overall I do like these headphones and recommend them for this price range. Battery life is okay. I'd say I can get up to 6-8 hours of listening time before they die. Connecting to bluetooth is fairly simple. Just hold the power button on the right earphone for 3 seconds or so and it'll start the pairing process. If you have the money for higher end then I'd say go for a different top end earphone, but these aren't bad.

It’s not going to knock your socks off but it feels quite well balanced and not for lack of a better way to put it, “cheap sounding” like some midrange ear buds can be. Two flaws on these however. One is that there is a small cone shaped silicone piece that flexes just under where the wire connects to the ear bud. That piece doesn’t seem to have been too firmly attached and failed after one year of use on the right side. Absolutely infuriating when this happens because I’ll have them tucked away in my backpack, and get a call on my phone and they proceed to invite themselves to the party and over ride either my car Bluetooth or simply the natural phone speaker itself when answering a call. Drives me bonkers. The only way to prevent this is remove them from my Bluetooth list entirely so they can’t do this, and pair them again once wanted. Needless to say this is very annoying to have to do every single time I use them. I recommend them for the price, with the major caveat of they can and may drive you insane by being connected every waking moment.

They do stay put, and are comfortable- but if wearing for long periods of time they do start to hurt a little. I used to wear them during 8 hour shifts in retail, and towards the end EOD my ear would be a little sore. Same with trying to sleep while wearing. As far as sound quality, they sound really great. Clear and loud, great bass. You can also download the Bose app for them and adjust the levels to however you want them. The only compliant I've had is the little blue clip that came with it doesn't hold up well. The channel part in the back is put under stress when you open the clip, and I won't wear them without clipping them to my shirt, so mine broke pretty quickly from daily use. I called Bose and they replaced it, sending me another. This one also broke. I called again and they sent me two this time. But my coworker had this more sturdy white clip she gave me, and I've been using it for years without an issue. Your can buy these online in a pack for real cheap. I'd recommend buying a pack of these, or multiple original clips if you intend to clip it.

I found that the medium sized tips that the earphones had installed from the factory were too small which decreased the sound quality. I swapped the medium tips out for the large tips (included) and the installation was easy. I inserted the headphones into my ears and I couldn't believe my ears! The Bose earphones fit perfectly and the sound quality was AMAZING! I haven't tried these in a workout yet but will update my review once I do. I truly believe that these will stay in place because of the unique construction of the headphone tips.After 4 years of searching - I've finally found a set of headphones that truly fit well - so if you are a "hard-to-fit" ear-type like me, you need to think seriously about purchasing these earphones!

Bose is still Best

I am pleased to be able to write a review for the BoseSport.I received these about a week ago - I have a pair of Bose over ear headphones, for comfort use. I got the Sport model so I could wear them training.At first glance, they appeared bigger than i had imagined they would be. They looked like they would be fairly obvious when worn, both in appearance as well as in their weight in my ear - I have to admit that they are well balanced and really quite comfortable. The moulded ear piece sits comfortably and even after a number of runs, they've shown no sign of falling out. The quality is very good. There is a lovely depth to the music / sounds. Enough base to make the experience more than enjoyable.As the ear buds sit in your ear, there is little residual noise, but enough to be kept safe when out on a run and able to be aware of any passing cars etc.Charging and battery run time is all as suggested by Bose. There is a helpful, 'battery low, please charge now' warning which gives you about 9 minutes more playtime before the headphones eventually turn off.The phone call handsfree function is surprisingly effective too. As yet no-one on the other end of the line has commented on my being on a handsfree device and I haven't heard any feedback/echoing either, which I have experienced in other handsfree head pieces before.All things considered - I have been very pleased with the quality and value for money that these BoseSoundSport ear pieces are.

Just like my old Bose Sports.

I was a little anxious to buy these from eBay knowing Bose dont sell them anymore. Iv owned a pair for a few years, but started to wear, so looked for new headphones. Nothing I tried compared to the sound of my beloved Bose sports. (And being able to wear them training/running). So I took the plunge. Im not disappointed at all, sound is just as good as my old ones, really quick delivery. Very pleased.

Long term use review

I bought these headphones in March 2017 so have been using them regularly (3-4 times per week) since then. I have used all three size options and found the largest size the most comfortable for me, however the headphones constantly fall out during my workout. The connecting cable between the two earphones is a nuisance when working out, even using the clip that attaches to your collar, the weight of the cable pulls on one side so the opposing earphone then gets pulled out of your ear. The earphones themselves are quite heavy, and stick out from your ears quite far meaning they aren't secure in the ear. Fine for walking through town or on the tube, but in the gym they are a constant distraction. After about 12 months they stopped fully charging. When I charged them up and turn them on I only ever hear them tell me they're at 90% despite having been on charge overnight. After about 18 months of use the rubber covers on the ear pieces started to come away, probably as a result of them constantly being covered in sweat but is still surprising as I was expecting them to last much longer than this. In the past 6 months I've no longer been able to adjust the volume using the remote on the cable, and in the last few weeks I can no longer turn them off, in order to disconnect them I have to turn off the bluetooth on all my devices, they also randomly switch on of their own accord, so I could be on a telephone call and my headphones are in their case in my gym bag upstairs and they will switch on and connect to my phone, leaving the other person talking into my gym socks and me wandering why I've got radio silence!Overall the sound quality on these has been excellent. Despite them not being noise cancelling the quality of the sound is better than anything I've had before, I've even been happy to even use them on flights. Sadly though for the reasons outlined above, I've found them to be poorly designed and annoyingly this has been a big let down for me, considering they weren't the cheapest available and the reputation that comes with buying Bose. I'm surprised that after just 12 months they started to deteriorate despite how much I use them I would expect a longer lifespan for high end headphones like these. Less than three years after purchase I'm looking at throwing them in the bin unless I can get them repaired which may not be worth it now.Overall I'd say these were average headphones, not robust enough if you're a regular gym user and expecting something thats likely to last, but more so, if comfort is important to you then these don't live up to expectations because they can fall out. The rubber insert that goes inside your outer ear is extremely comfortable, high quality, as is the sound quality, but they easily drop out of your ears during exercise and I think this is the main area they let themselves down. On the durability front, I guess its a personal opinion if you think a product like this that lasts between 2-3 years is reasonable or not.

Here I wore them underneath over ear ear defenders. This kept them firmly in my ears but still left them feeling uncomfortable.The bluetooth range is impressive, I managed to stay atleast 20 meters from my mobile without any interruption in sound.Battery life is Ok, I had around 3.5 hours from a full charge, a full charge that is reached reasonably quickly.Overall I have to say I'm a little disappointed with the SoundSports. The sound quality is good, they just aren't as practical as I'd hoped.

First the battery would not charge completely (started after 4 months), then the Earbuds would periodicially lose connectivity over Bluetooth (with my paired Samsung Watch5 Pro or Garmin watches), next the volume control in the cord failed completely.Now I'm only able to turn the earbuds on and hope they stay paired with my devices. No volume controls, battery will only charge to 30-40% and I can't even turn the earbuds off. I purchased these thinking I was getting my money’s worth. I did in some designs and features but didn’t in others which leads me to review them at two stars. I, a 24 year old male, purchased them for lunch time at work, the gym and hands free calling. I’ll start with the bad, the battery on these things suck. I’ll plug my into my charger and the light will light up green like it’s fully charged and when I turn them on they’ll usually say 70 or 80% and I don’t understand why. Speaking of the volume it doesn’t go that loud, it goes loud enough to please me but it really isn’t that loud. I haven’t mess around with the app too much to figure out if there is a volume limit setting but it would be pointless to limit them from the factory as I found out there was an app and almost didn’t download it. The microphone also wasn’t up to par, when I’m talking on the phone it’ll pick up sounds from across the room that I thought were quiet (ie; television, washer, toilet or someone else talking) and my girlfriend can’t hear me. The microphone placement along the cord must sit perfectly across my cheek and she still can’t hear me but will say something is playing loudly in the background. I’ve also taken the earbuds into a sauna where temperature will reach approximately 170 degrees at the top of the room and they’ll shut off, I sit high but the thermostat is still plenty above me. I have read that these are supposed to be water resistant or sweat proof but have been scared to try them out in anything other than light sweat so I’ll take them off due to myself sweating a lot. The good things about these were everything that’s listed; durability, ease of use (although the button is tough which I like, the silicon cover occasionally slides off the actual button so I’ll have to press it again and again), sounds is good apart from the volume limit. The comfort is great, they aren’t to heavy and sit in my ear well. The earbuds do have just a slightly to short of a cord and the plastic clip (which I liked) that comes with these broke quickly. I didn’t get these for appearance but they were a tad big for being so quiet. The ease of use was everything I was looking for. Point blank I regret purchasing these for the price I paid, I knew I didn’t want beats and have had a good experience with Bose when I was younger so I thought I made the right decision but I’m starting to think otherwise. Maybe I’ll try some jaybirds next time.
