Useful combination tuner and metronome. Guitar, bass & chromatic scales with adjustable 440Hz setting - So it's versatile. It is quite small. Does not have an output jack, so it cannot be left in-line; you have to unplug the instrument and plug it in to this for tuning. Case is plastic, so it maybe not be durable. Plastic case and lack of thro-jack loose it a couple of stars in my opinion but it gains one star back for being small and lightweight enough to slip into your pocket.

I bought it for the metronome, and for this works very well, and, like all Boss stuff, I'm expecting it to be pretty tuff and survive being carted about :) . However I had thought it had a tap function, but it doesn't seem to have one (I think I got mixed up with Boss DB-30?) . So that's why only 4 stars. (perhaps I should have done 4 1/2 stars? as it really was my fault :) )

The metronome is easy enough to use although I would not say it is intuitive. The seems to be very accurate for non-pro use. The metronome is not very loud and the light signals give more time indications than the sounded out beats.

Product is worthless junk. I cannot believe Boss would put their (formerly) good name on this item. Metrnome ticks are almost inaudible unless product is held next to your ear. No way it can be used while playing a woodwind. Volume not adjustable.The Metrnome app on my iPhone is much better.
Used this with a cello and with an acoustic guitar. Volume is not adjustable and insufficient. It's easily overwhelmed at normal practice levels, and you find yourself struggling to hear the metronome rather than concentrating on your work.
I have not used the tuning capability of this product as its not what I bought it for and therefore no comment. However the metronome works nicely and is easy to use, intuitive in fact. Rely good for the price.
Really good tuner. Had all the other clip - ons' which don't last 5 minutes and don't tune that well, this is great and even manages to compensate for my Gibson 'G' string!
Good built quality and necessary functions both as Tuner or Metronome. The good thing about tuner is it shows the number next to the notes like G4 which is a great option and helps a lot. A backlit screen and better microphone for faster recognition will be amazing updates for next gen.
Great little tuner to have in your gig bag or at home. Have a few in different cases and spaces
