Thank goodness for Bottlegreen cordials - great flavours and no chemical sweeteners :-) Ginger & lemongrass is a great flavour combo. My favourite ginger cordial for years was Belvoir, but I've had to ditch it because they've changed their recipe to mainly lemon juice with a small amount of ginger, which has resulted in a lemon drink that gives me heartburn. Shame.

I usually buy the Belvior ginger, which is excellent. This came as a substitute. It is also excellent. Its more delicate and floral.I like them both a lot. Will probably alternate them from jow but n.

Somehow the original recipe has been changed to "Aromatic" or there is a new kid on the block ...??? the taste is completely different with the "aromatic" and I dont like it. The original Ginger and lemongrass packed a punch and was delicious.....somehow this new "aromatic"with its strange flavour has either been added to te range or is now replacing the original........ This bottle label here is the original.....

I love the subtle tastes of Elderflower and this bottle was of excellent quality. It's great that you can add more or less water and make it as strong or weak as you like. I always keep a bottle around because it's great for upset tummies. Very soothing.
I used to absolutely love this cordial...it was ginger with a light lemongrass flavour for freshness. However, they have reformulated this recently and its an expensive sugar syrup that tastes neither of any ginger or lemongrass! So incredibly disappointing after months of this product being unavailable!!
The most important thing for me with cordial is whether it's free from artificial sweetener. Finding such a thing these days is like panning for gold. It hit the mark so I thought I'd give it a go, despite it being a lot more expensive than other brands.I wasn't expecting much, because it's cordial. Cordial is cordial methought. But nay, this packs a punch. It's bursting with fruity goodness and absolutely delicious. Perhaps a little on the tart side if anything. This means that you don't have to use so much to get the taste, which negates a bit of the extra cost. All in all I thoroughly recommend. It's delicious and perfect for the coming summer months.
This Elderflower Cordial is the best of the bunch- no names. You need very little of it to make a delicious long drink with plenty of flavour and not too much sweetness. Thank goodness ( or whichever god you believe in) that there are no nasty artificial sweeteners in it- yet. It seems expensive but lasts longer than slightly cheaper alternatives.
I really like this. It tastes great and is refreshing. What I also like is that you dont need much of the cordial to make a squash. I read somewhere that this is a great cordial because it lacks preservatives, etc. Would recommend if you like sweet and refreshing juice!
I know it's my own fault as I poured too much cordial in the glass. I like my cordials on the sweeter side. I mixed with water as normal and took a mouthful and it was awful. It was so gingery and almost fiery. I had to drink milk to cool my mouth. But looking at review below it wasn't gingery enough for that reviewer. This is clearly a high quality product and I would recommend to anyone who loves ginger - and although I like ginger this one wasn't for me.
However read the label carefully! I have bought presse instead of the cordial and the latter is much nicer! So I'm drinking it up and buying some cordial - two bottles as it's on offer! Very tasty, strong, so a little goes a long way. I love the slight gingery after taste it leaves (not too severe incase that worries you!) I recommend this!
