This is an excellent pre-wash foam that helps lift all the crap off your paint before your hit it with the sponge and suds, and therefore greatly reducing swirling and scratches that you would otherwise cause by not using a pre-wash foam. Calling this just "detergent" is erroneous and a vast over-simplification.I would like to clarify that I am not an employee of Bowden's Own and not affiliated with them in any way shape or form, nor was I paid to write this review. I was very sceptical of this product as I have read some pretty wild claims regarding foams. It isn't a total wash solution but it does what it says on the bottle. Washed 3 cars of varying age (2005, 2012 and 2018) with it and they all came out great. Good shine and water beading. Used an ebay foam cannon and it worked good at the recommended mix ratio. Only giving it four stars because I feel it's a bit expensive. Nothing wrong with the product at this stage at all.

This stuff really worked. I have had black cars for years and have spent thousands of dollars on every brand of cleaning product on the market. I thought I would try this to lift the dirt before I washed my car. Used a pressure washer to apply the foam. Left it to soak. Rinsed and the car was so clean and black I was amazed. I am always sceptical about products and was pleasantly surprised to see that this worked better than I expected.

Foams up well. Was hoping to get a bit more dirt off before washing. Used on my black and white car and both same result. Probably ok for getting dust off. Just not road dirt caused from rain. Will try mega snow
This is a great product... foamy, smells good, cleans well... BUT... it is too expensive.I used it with the Bowden Snow Blow Cannon and it produces thick foam.If it is on sale.. go grab it!If not, I'd just go with Meguiar's Gold Class which produces similar thickness of foam.
I’ve persevered with this product over the past 4 months. I washed cars, boats and trucks using a mix of rainwater and mains water. The snow blower put loads of creamy foam on the vehicle, then nothing!!Tried different pressure machines, in the sun, in the shade, hot days and cold.Either I’m not using the product correctly or it’s just a waste of money and a great marketing effort.Not for me!

Not cheap but great performing foam. Used itwith Meguiars Mega Snow Cannon and 1.1mm orofice upgrade.Lots of thick shaving cream suds that actually clean. Works best with warm water.
This stuff is insanely expensive. $60 for 2L, are you kidding me? Especially when you know how much it really costs when Repco / Supercheap / Autobarn have a clearance on the "old" (only old picture, still the improved formula) for $20 for 2L and are still making money.So $60 for 2L for the privledge of a new picture huh? No thanks. I'll go back to Meguiars on special regulary on special for $23.It really shows how much mark up there is on this esentially just detergent product.
One of the more expensive shelf price options for snow foam (but not the most expensive), however, considering how little you need to use for each job, it actually balances things out and offers reasonable value for money.I use this with a very small 1400W, 1450PSI pressure washer, and can still manage to get a thick coat of foam with my snow cannon, so the formula is good, even for lower pressure washers. The yield is essentially one small-medium size car per cap full of Snow Job formula.Does a good job as a pre-wash, or even as a no-touch wash for very light surface dust, or if you frequently wash your vehicle, but generally needs a follow-up mitt wash etc.
