I had very very poor wheel arch flares on a 4wd, basically white plastic in parts. I'd watched the video and hoped for a similar outcome. While it didn't happen immediately, basically due to the condition of the flares it bring them back to black. Not perfect, but given the condition it was at the start it did a great job. Even worked a treat on a 21 year old bullbar bringing back a black look, not dull grey.

I have a 2012 Ford Transit which has large areas of plastic front and rear bumpers and had noted that the bumpers were slowly turning grey. Found the Bowden’s Black box product, watched all the videos (and was delighted when they used the same Transit as mine as their sample) and was most impressed with a real user’s review after 12-months of use. Followed his advice and bought the extra bottle of Spray Prep, as I thought my large plastic areas would need it.EXTRAS: Found during usage, that the small pointed foam applicator in the kit breaks at the chisel point, but also found that it was one of 4 pointed foam paint applicators available from a Big hardware store in their paint department. I love Bowden's Own products! I used a lot of the detailing products on my 2017 S3, especially loving the clay bar and fully slick spray to look after it's clear coat.This kit is no different! In a total change of pace, I've now got a first gen short wheelbase rav4. While in grear condition for a 25 year old car, the exterior black plastic was faded. I wanted to freshen it up before mounting a black towbar and bullbar to keep things relatively uniform.So impressed! Essentially shoe polish for cars, it's done a fantastic job of restoring the exterior plastic. Put it on about a month ago, washed twice and been through mud/rain with no visible deterioration. Heaps left in the bottles for top ups later on

Easy to use and does a great job. They finished product doesn't look showroom but if you want that you need to buy a new part. This works as the next best option.Can be a touch tricky evening out the sections when doing a large part in smaller sections.
Bought this product based on a YouTube video and the fact that’s it’s Aussie owned and made, so figured it had to be designed for our sun.We have a 2011 Mini Countryman and all the trim around the wheel arches has started to go grey and present some tiger stripes.Was sceptical at first but after doing half of a wheel arch I instantly noticed the difference. It turned the horrid grey fading plastic into rich black satin shine plastic.The product is a bit tricky to apply and a little definitely does go a long way. If you put too much on you will have glossy areas on your black plastic. Working it in in small amounts and small areas is best.So far am very happy with the product and the finish on the plastics. Bought this stuff over a year ago for my car, and it did a fantastic job restoring all the trims back to a nice dark black. Can definitely say its better than some other products i used beforehand which would only last a couple of weeks at most. My cars probably due for another touch up soon, however, it's nearly been a year and it still looks reasonable.Side note: I've just used it on my brother's new 2nd hand car and looks fabulous!!
Bought this as I recently purchased an older car that has been VERY well looked after but not much can compete with QLD sun. The black plastic had faded to a light grey. Basically night and day difference with using this. Was going to replace the mirrors, bonnet locks, side steps and more but not anymore. Handles, mud guards, side steps and more look like BRAND NEW. Not sure if it the different fabric but the fenders are only 30% better and it didn't work for the bumpers at all but still would highly recommend this. Did mine and my husband's car and barely used a tenth of the bottle.
Followed the directions carefully and bingo, very impressed. All the gear is in the box. I dithered about buying the cheaper products around $30 but have made that mistake before. The box contains all the other stuff you need which is good value. The finish is exactly as described. Could not wish for better.I used it for the long panel strips on a van, the mirror housings, the door handles etc. Great finish. As the instructions say, ‘use a little, less is more’. Would do 3-4 cars or 3 vans.I’ve tried a few other products over the years such as Armorall, TW but this product is by far superior for this purpose. Expensive, but the results are impressive.
Follow the instructions and it works as advertised. Better off doing a couple of passes with not too much on the applicator, otherwise you will end up with paint lines. It's a very heavy ink, so keep it off your clothes and skin. It will set into unpolished paint very quickly, but you can rub it off polished surfaces with relative ease.
A panel eater told me of a similar product years ago and been waiting for something like this to come to a retailer. Tried all other trim 'rejuvenation products'; silicon based ones attract dust and seem to last longer than the non silicone versions. I've tried bowdens spray on trim products and this stuff blows them all out of the water. A bit of prep work to get ot sorted and cleaned up but the results are amazing. Got this on special but after using it id pay full price. Did bumpers, door protectors on a 4wd and used hardly any product. One of the most 'night and day' products I've used as all the trim looks like it was when I bought the car 6 years ago.If you have faded trim or bumpers, don't stuff around with anything else.
