I purchased this as an addition to my mini home gym and so far I love it. I can get everything done with both barbells from biceps, chest, back, legs and situps with the straight bar. Everything was easy to put together and the stand is the perfect height, with good storage for the curlbar. If you're looking to tone or build bigger muscle I definitely recommend this curlbar set with stand you won't regret it. I went from curling 60lbs to 80lbs in 3 weeks cause I have this at will so no waiting or skipping at the gym.#sweepstakes

Simple in design, concept and use. The assembly requires attention to detail, making sure in each step that the assembly conforms to the image of the finished product. A few parts can fit together easily but create problems later on in assembly. Just check your work as you go along -- otherwise all is straight forward and really rather simple. I very much like the assembled product -- very functional and has a nice clean design. Overall, very pleased.

I was watching Instagram and a trainer purchased the dumbbells. She works out from home in a bedroom. My situation is similar, but I really wanted the barbell and stand. Setup is easier when it's two people, but I set it up solo. It fit perfectly into my confined space in my bonus room. It's very easy to use. I absolutely love the stand. I put my iPad on it and play workouts that suit me.

If you're like me, you don't want to be stumping your toe or tripping over stuff especially a weight set. This is a very helpful accessory to consolidate the equipment and get it at an appropriate height for use. However, for my unit some of the measurement s are off creating some tricks to using the base while adjusting and resetting the plates to ensure the are appropriately locked and discharged and reset. Additionally, it would be helpful to have bench press rack to enable setting up for movements safely and providing the opportunity to rack between sets. Currently, the rack cannot be used as you would a standard barbell rack, only for storage not really for use, which does not resolve the issue of safety during overhead movements such as the bench press
I bought the 2070 barbell set and media rack as part of my home gym setup. I already had the adjustable dumbbell set and I love this product just as much. Once set up, I've found it sturdy, well made and easy to adjust the weights. It's sleek, takes up little room, and has helped me take my lifting routine to a higher and more efficient level. This product is awesome. It fits nicely in a compressed space and provides for many workout variations, especially since it comes with a curl bar and a straight bar and has the ability to go up to 120 lbs. The height is fantastic for a 6'2" male. The only awkward part about the weights is that they are rectangle and don't rotate at all making an awkward grip when pickup and returning the weights/bar back to the rack. Simple fix for me is to adjust the weights to desired weight, remove weight from rack be place on floor and adjust hands for optimal grip. Overall I would buy this product over every other on the market!
Long story I'm in great shape but I few months ago I got diagnosed with a rare virus and I lost 1/3 of my body's blood supply in my colon and didn't even know I was Sick unit I passed out. I work from home a couple of days week but just so happened a hurricane was headed into out path. So schooled was cancelled and by the grace of God the stormChanged directions. The Bowflex 2080 Stand with Media Rack works perfectly with the designated weights. The stand is esthetically pleasing and very stable. Also very easy to assemble. I appreciate that the stand accommodates both the easy-curl-bar and the straight bar simultaneously. Very easy to switch between bars during workouts, which boosts time efficiency. Use this 3-5x per week.
Both the straight and EZ curl bar perform and feel like any other you'd find in the gym. The circumference of the bar and feeling of the knurl are right. The weight selection process is simple. Three things missing for me to get to 5 stars is: (1) incremental adjustments less than 10 pounds, (2) a taller rack - it is lower than I'd like to grab the bar, (3) ease of build - I purchased the package deal for the 80 pound barbells and the rack with tablet holder, the instructions provided come as if you bought both units separately. I followed the instructions for building the barbell and then had to remove items I already attached once I started building the stand in order to complete the build. That was annoying.
