Boys Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi - White

Converse Kids CT All Star Hi - Optic White The Chuck Taylor All Star high top is the most iconic sneaker in the world, recognized for its unmistakable silhouette, star-centered ankle patch and cultural authenticity. And like the best paradigms, it only gets better with time. For generations, these classic colors and quality vulcanized rubber sole have defined an icon. Born on the court but adopted by rebels, rockers, rappers, artists, dreamers, thinkers and originals, the Chuck Taylor All Star continues to celebrate personal style and individual self-expression. At age 47, Marquis Mills Converse, who was previously a respected manager at a footwear manufacturing firm, opened the Converse Rubber Shoe Company in Malden, Massachusetts in February 1908. The company was a rubber shoe manufacturer, providing winterized rubber soled footwear for men, women, and children. By 1910, Converse was producing shoes daily, but it was not until 1915 that the company began manufacturing athletic shoes for tennis. The company's main turning point came in 1917 when the Converse All-Star basketball shoe was introduced. Then in 1921, a basketball player named Charles H. "Chuck" Taylor walked into Converse complaining of sore feet. Converse gave him a job: he worked as a salesman and ambassador, promoting the shoes around the United States, and in 1932 Taylor’s signature was added to the All Star patch on the classic, high-topped sneakers.

I love the sneakers and I love this brand. I have loved it forever! I have always felt that these are fun, comfortable, and durable, and they never go out of style.. All in all a great value. But recently I purchased a pair as a gift for a young family member. Within three months the entire side of the shoe tore out just above the ankle. I was really shocked since the sneakers generally can be worn for literally years! I did contact the company and didn’t really get any satisfaction as far as a return or refund. This may have been a one time incident, and these things do happen.

The black Converse Chuck Taylor All Star is a sleek, versatile sneaker that pairs effortlessly with any outfit. Its classic design and monochromatic color offer a timeless, stylish look and comfort. The fit is generally true to size, though it can be a bit snug initially; they tend to mold to your feet over time. While the canvas upper and rubber sole provide durability and casual comfort, the shoes lack arch support. Overall, the black Chuck Taylors are a great choice for a stylish, understated sneaker that complements any wardrobe.

The Converse All Star Chuck Taylor is a comfortable and durable classic. Its canvas upper offers breathability, while the lightweight design makes it great for all-day wear. Though the sole is flat, many find the comfort sufficient for casual outings or daily use. The sneakers are also durable, with the sturdy canvas and rubber sole lasting through plenty of wear. In terms of fit, they run slightly large, so consider sizing down for a more secure fit. Overall, the timeless design and reliable comfort make them a go-to option for many.

Timeless Style: Chuck Taylors are timeless. They look better with age, come in every color imaginable, and their versatility knows no bounds. Versatility: Whether you’re rocking them with jeans, dresses, or shorts, Chuck Taylors adapt effortlessly to any outfit. Comfort: While not specifically designed for intense workouts, they’re surprisingly good for casual wear and light activities. Cultural Icon: Over 100 million pairs are sold annually, and 60 percent of Americans have owned a pair at some point.

I love Converse Chuck Taylor All Star shoes. I have them in several colors and styles. My favorite though, is the purple. Recently, a friend was married and our whole bridal parry wore these shoes under our gowns. They were very comfortable for the long day. None of us experienced any of the typical sore feet or blisters that come with wearing formal shoes. They looked great with our dresses, and we received a ton of compliments. These shoes are great for any occasion casual to formal.

I'm a CONVERSE junkie. I LOVE THEM! At this time I have all the colours in flat tops and recently started shopping on the actual website for my platforms. Contrary to the site and many reviews, my exact size 10 W fits me correctly so I think their sizes run fine. My job requires standing/ walking for 11 plus hours and I have no complaints from my feet. The break-in for me took 1 day then all was easy-peasy. I've tried the additional ortho-sole and it was fine but to be honest, I didn't really need it. The ones I tried w/o I really didn't feel a big difference. THEY ARE ALL SUPER COMFORTABLE. I love that the platforms make me look so cool too! I RUN to the site anytime I hear of a sale! Get 'em!!!

I’ve always loved converses especially the high top ones they are just so nice and stylish they can be worn with anything. My first pair i had gotten two of them was when I was 10 and they were grey with purple and pink tulle on the tongues as well as a grey pair with mint green and baby pink colors on the inside that are able to be folded to see the colors and till this day I still have that pair. Converse are great and they come in so many different colors and fun styles. My favorites are of course the black pair and the white pair since they match with everything. They are comfy and the quality is great and long lasting.

Converse high tops are an iconic and stylish choice. The canvas upper offers a lightweight feel and breathability, making them suitable for various seasons. The classic Chuck Taylor design provides a retro vibe that pairs well with casual and even semi-formal outfits. However, the thin sole might not be as cushioned for extended wear. Overall, Converse high tops are a fashion staple with a distinct aesthetic, perfect for those who appreciate a timeless and versatile sneaker.

Not what I expected

Being 77 years young, I remember when Converse All Stars were the shoe of choice. A substantial shoe capable of living up to the demands of an intense high school basketball game. The 2024 version resembles the 1965 version only in looks. There's nothing to this shoe. A thin canvas membrane with no cushioning whatsoever. When they improve this shoe, I'll be the first in line to buy it, but until then, I'm not giving it another thought. I guess I'm looking for the "Restomod" version...
