I LOVE this thing. I never thought I would ever get soo excited over a dish rack. But this thing gives me allll the feels. Streamlined, clean and functions great. Holds everything from large cutting boards to small items with room to spare. Looks awesome on my white counter top.

I like the minimalist design, but I’d say disappointing overall. The utensil tray tips over when adding taller kitchen utensils because it’s just too low. That’s an amateur design flaw. The drip tray is very cheap and flimsy. Also most plates don’t stand upright. They have to be placed diagonally so you can’t fit very many. Final verdict? Looks beautiful but isn’t very functional. For the price, it’s definitely a letdown.

Brabantia dish drainer

I read a few reviews after seeing this product in a store that only had a display model. I was put off buying it because reviewers said the plates didn’t stand well. However, I saw the drainer again and stood plates in to try for myself. I understand that the plates don’t stand very upright but they are supported and went ahead and ordered it. It is perfect. The colour is just right, I would say a creamy white. It seems to be well made and substantial, not flimsy at all. I’m very happy with my drainer and although it isn’t a cheap buy it is a very good buy.

Disappointing for this price

I loved the item for a few days, because I accepted that I have to be careful with the plates there, but after using it for 2-3 months I am very disappointed. For this price the main function is not working and by this "design mistake" I lost a lot of plates. More accurately: They fell out of their places when I placed more dishes in the rack and the edge of them broke many times...

Great design, consider the lack of walls for your use-case.

I love the design of this product - it’s modern with a very solid feel due to the thicker metal. You may need to get used to the lack of walls on the sides as I used to rely on them for stacking, especially for frypans. If this doesn’t bother you, it’s a basically perfect dish rack.

Love it!

I bought this a few months ago and I am so pleased with it. So many drying racks I was shopping for were eyesores that I would not have wanted to see in my kitchen every day. This drying rack is perfect in that regard! It blends in with the rest of my kitchen and is easy to store away when needed. The rack works great and is also very easy to clean. 10/10 recommend!

Perfect drying rack

It’s does exactly what we want it to do and does it well. No unnecessary bells and whistles. It feels solid and well made. It doesn’t look too bulky on the counter top. Enjoy space for plates, cups, bowls and utensils. If you get black and have hard water...you will see mineral deposits if you don’t clean it well. The water drains perfectly to the side. Overall very happy with this purchase and I believe it will last. I have had it for 6 months and it is performing above expectations.

Poor design

I agree with other reviews, that large dinner plates are not safe in the rack. They topple over very easily. The picture showing plates vertical must be set up. Standard dinner plates are at a 45 deg. angle. Not really fit for purpose and Dunhelm should do something about it.

Quality product but one design flaw

The quality of Brabantia’s products are excellent and this dish rack is no exception - it feels and looks great. However we are very disappointed with the design of the rack component that is meant to hold bigger plates. It’s too shallow and this means the plates often tip over and can and have resulted in other items such as glasses being knocked off the rack and breaking. It’s a very unfortunate design flaw and not something I would expect or accept for the price of the product. I’ve just been too busy with the house move to bother with a refund.

Very poor design.

The plates don't stand up correctly and topple over onto the cuttery holder, which in turn falls over spilling knives forks and spoons out.The base hasn't got any rubber grippers which makes the base slip and slide ever where. Spend your £50 somewhere else. Which is what we intend to do.
