Average quality, if it doesn't fit your mattress tightly it shifts and gets 'balley' from the sheets moving on the surface of it. Makes a crunchy noise when you move on the bed- less noisy if you use a mattress topper over the top of it.

The other reviews scared me. It’s not that bad! . It does what I need! Protect my wool quilt from puppy wee! Zipper is fine if you are gentle. The noise doesn’t bother me because I don’t move around much.

I bought this last week from Spotlight. Not easy putting the mattress in it & zipper broke. It is plastic & even with mattress protector & mattress topper on top still made crinkly noise with any movement. Also mattress protector/ topper & sheet slid off the plastic. Tried to take it off tonight but of course zip end had broken off & I ended up tearing it off & straight in the bin. Not the quality I expected from this company for the price.

I bought one to fully encase an existing 150cm thick natural latex mattress for our queen size guest bed, as my housemate has a latex allergy. I included a 50mm foam layer inside the casing (to soften the firmness) and then added an elasticised quilted cotton topper under the sheet. Nil breathing issues for my housemate now or risks to guests. Zero latex smell. No 'rustling' noise (from the waterproof protector) either due to the extra padding layer. A perfect result. This cover is strong enough to use to carry a latex mattress easily (as bare latex foam can split when rolled due to its heavy weight). The cover also made it easier to carry the revamped mattress upstairs by 2 people. I purchased the queen size protector and found it to be rather loose fitting. After reading other reviews regarding the plastic being noisy to sleep on I decided to put my quilted mattress protector on top of the plastic. This has stopped any noise and find it satisfactory to sleep on.
Not sure what I was expecting but this paper-like mattress protector is quite hard to use and doesn’t fit well. The “fabric” feels like cheap, rippable paper weave. Being a zip up, you have to be able to get the whole mattress lifted to envelope it with the protector. And then you find it is way too large for the mattress after muscling it on. Which makes sense as it has zero stretch and they must make it for the largest possible mattress in the chosen size. If you like the sound of paper rustling and lumpy sheets this perfect for you.
I bought this as I want to protect my mattress (and myself) from bed bugs and any other creepy crawlers. It’s large so not a tight fit, even though my mattress is 33cm deep. This makes it move around slightly while in bed and I’m not liking the noise it makes. Otherwise it’s great, does exactly what it’s supposed to.
I chose this one because of the measurements made it look like a nice fit. But it’s not. It’s baggy and so much larger than the measurements it’s given. Totally misleading. For the price I paid it’s not worth it, not at all.
Bought this over a month ago- its noisy and crunchy and because my mattress inst extra thick, it moves around and doesn't fit properly. You need to have a really thick mattress that is a snug fit inside the protector, otherwise its horrible and the sheets slip off/move around.
This mattress protector was fine ; however it was very large. I had to tuck the excess underneath the mattress as it did not fit snugly. Consequently the sheet and cover get crumpled easily as you try to sleep.
