I bought a knockoff replacement head for my Braun 8. It was okay but flimsy and fell apart after a few weeks. I bought this name brand one and the difference is very obvious. It works great and the gauge of the materials used is very noticeable. It shaves smoothly and easily. I am buying another one as a backup. I highly recommend this product.

Great item, makes my series 8 work like new. No hesitation recommended the replacement cassette.
Still very happy with my Series 8 shaver in its 2nd year. & a new foil makes the world of difference - so much better than a worn foil & blade (Nb. I push my cassette heads hard & over use them a bit- so they start wearing out & bits become loose after 12 months or so instead of the 18mths suggested)
I used my original blades for over two years and it was in need of replacement. This new shaver head is once again giving me that close Braun electric shave.

Braun Shaver replacement cassette's are fantastic - no need to endure a blunt razor. The replacement cassette is an easy and inexpensive way to bring your shaver back to being fully operational and working like new.
This is a quality German made foil shaver head, but it is very expensive (I'd say overpriced). However, if you take good care of it, it can last a couple years.
The Series 8 Shaver Cassette was easy to order online and was delivered promptly. It is functional and I have found that the stated life of eighteen months is accurate.
