This is a very gentle trimmer and can be used in sensitive areas such as armpits without fear of scratching. I have a main trimmer, but it cannot reach into small or curved areas. I can now trim near my ears and just touch up as needed, so I need to do a main haircut less frequently. It can also use a rechargeable battery which I like, so it seems to me that it has a much smaller environmental impact than larger trimmers, which I am pleased about.

I've seen many sceptical reviews about this product, yet I went with my guts because I needed something light and packable that didn't require a long recharging time. First of all, I'm really glad that Nykaa sent me a sealed box. Second, this is quite the charm to use. I am for certain quite sceptical of how long the product will hold its integrity. But that's only because of the negative things I've read about it on amazon. Otherwise, It does what it's supposed it. I don't see anything wrong with it. This is convenient, it's compact, it's easy to use and it does an excellent job. It's advertised as a mini trimmer but I wouldn't feel comfortable with anything bigger in my private regions! Bikini area - it has a comb for trimming or you can use the shaver. The shaver gets a really nice close shave to leave the area quite smooth whether shaving everywhere, or just the sides. The trimmer with comb does a fantastic job in trimming any length of hair down to a minimum 4mm. You can start with longer hair in that region and just shorten it, keeping a little length, or you can get it down to a nice light cover of hair as well. No knicks, easy to use in shower, bath or out in the dry. A whole new world. My husband and I have both been really impressed with it.
I was very excited to purchase this product. I already have a different Braun product which I found very efficient. However, I am disappointed with this one. The instrument does not switch on easily. I had to try numerous times and even replace battery. Sudden it started working. I used for 1 min and stopped. Later again it was not starting. Perhaps it is a faulty piece. Appearance wise, it is good. And works well if it starts. It has a starting problem.
It worked perfectly for a while, exactly as I wanted. But it's very hard to clean out the hair. One of the pictures shows it opening, and while it does that, it doesn't open further than that and you can't clean the other side of the blades. Using the brush provided worked but there's only so much you can do to get behind the blades. Water doesn't get a lot of the hairs out, when the water stops flowing the hairs get stuck and dry to the bottom of the cavity, and the brush can't reach.
