This is such a big step up from my cheap beard trimmer that I’ve been using for years! It’s that big a difference I’m ashamed I’ve not gotten a better trimmer sooner.The blades are super sharp and having the option of changing to the contour or detail blades is a real plus. The contour blade gets so close you’d think you had used a wet shaver, with the added benefit of no irritation.The build quality is very high, and the charging stand means that this looks great on the bathroom shelf.Having the lock on the length selector means I can be confident that I’m cutting to the same length each time I trim my beard, no more guesswork!My beard has never looked better.

I love the Braun brand and have been using it for years. Its so underrated but just keeps churning out quality products and this is no exception. I wanted a beard trimmer that could do it all in one package from all the different lengths (grades) to the fine trimming and tapering when required. When I saw this I had to try it and it didn't disappoint. It feels quality in your hand, comes with a nice simple but stylish stand included and all the extras to trim, chop and shave any type of beard you require. Plus with lifetime sharp blades you won't have to pay to replace them all the time. Seriously get one and you won't be disappointed and I can't believe it's such good value either!
Product appears good but the user diagramatic instructions are absolutely useless. For instance it says it has 40 length settings. The dial goes from 1 to 20. Not terribly obvious that the other 20 or on the second comb. Completely shaved off part of my beard using the default 1 setting which I had mistakenly assumed was the longest setting instead of the shortest. Not sure if I have worked out how it works as turning the dial on the default comb does not move the comb as far as I can tell. Using diagrams may be a good way of depicting use but this one leaves a lot to be desired.Braun - sort this out by precise written instructions and I might have a fighting chance of having a properly trimmed beard. Finally found a chance to try out the new trimmer, so only used it the once so far.I previously used a rival brand, of which I have never had an issue with, but received this as a gift. I had used Braun previously, and did not get on well with it, but I can say so far, this is far better than the previous Braun trimmer.Much heavier than my current rival product, feels solid, and is comfortable to hold.Charges very quick and cuts really well. Blades are nice and sharp, but do not scratch when using without a guard.The attachments a very handy, along with the adjustable length dial, meaning you can trim to exactly how you wish.I have found that it does miss the odd hair here and there, but that may be more down to user error when handling a new device.
I absolutely cannot fault this product. Nor can I sing its praises enough.This is the first beard trimmer (among about 10 different trimmers) that does a great job. The locking mechanism is great and at no point did I have the guard slip to a different height like I've had with others. I've had a few trims and I'm not having to charge it constantly which is wonderful.It feels like a solid, well made device. It looks good and the stand accessories were a nice touch. You cannot go wrong with this trimmer at all.I would absolutely rebut this should it last a few years.
Unlike some lucky people if I don't trim my beard regularly I look like a dishevelled vagrant. To this end I own a number of beard trimmers, however having recently acquired the Braun series 9, I don't think I will need another one. This is the daddy! The overall quality of the trimmer is miles better than my previous Braun. The blades are far superior, the adjustment is precise and has many graduations. The feel of it and the way it cuts just feels like a professional item.l plus you get 3 blades not just one! Love it. Well worth the extra bit of cost. Get the series 9!
