Once set up this unit provides a neat display of time and temperature. Definitely not good value at full manufacturers price but I was happy with what I paid from the eBay seller. Shame it doesnt come with a power supply to give the display a permanent back light. Also, this power supply is not a standard unit and not easy to source a uk version (it would have been far better if it were a usb charger type). On the whole Im very happy with my purchase!

I've owned Braun travel alarm clocks for years, used as bedside clocks. They’re well designed, compact and reliable. I ordered a new one for a holiday house and was pleased to find the design is now even better. Alarm on/off now on the back (unable to be pressed accidentally in the dark) and the light-on button responds to a gentle touch. As a designer I have always loved the simplicity and ease of use of Braun products and this clock is no exception.

This is my second purchase of this small alarm clock. The first was for myself at my bedside and the second was for my partner at his. Why? It lights up with a delicate touch without lighting up the whole room and stays that way just long enough for the sleepy person to tell the time. Setting the alarm and stopping it is simple too. In fact the simplicity of this clock in looks as well as usage makes it an excellent buy.
This little clock is great we'll designed and easy to use. Great features such as being dark at night until You gently tap the top. A really nice sound for the alarm. Does the job without a jarring sound. Nice size for a bedside table and you can take it when you travel. All round very happy with this purchase.
On the one hand this looks so classy & understated, is so petite and perfect for travelling with its simple functions. However I was looking for a clock that I could see in the dark and this is not that clock. Indeed when placed in a dark room the face becomes absolutely black & you have to touch it to see any display at all. Whilst I can see that this would be a positive advantage to someone who is sensitive to light disturbance, sadly it's not much use to me, though it is of really excellent quality if its functionality is what you're looking for.
As described online, this clock matches my needs for a small but effective alarm clock. Easy to set up. No bright light but a simple 10 second display activated by single finger floating over the top of the clock. Highly recommended.
I had high hopes for this as Braun has a good reputation for quality and it was expensive. But was sadly disapointed - this is the worst alarm clock I have ever seen! Comes with no instructions - you have to go on the Braun website to find them. Not very easy to set it and also the numbers on the clock are not visible unless you press the light on the top. Even when you do press the light on the top, the numbers are nowhere near as clear and bright as they are shown in the photo of the clock. Worst part of this clock though was the alarm - it was so quiet I could hardly hear it. So basically an alarm clock that you can't see or hear - about as useful as a chocolate teapot!
It is smaller than anticipated, but this is an advantage in a travel product, as is the fact that it is very light. I like that it illuminates by a touch on the top, and the light only stays on for about ten seconds. This is not a clock that will keep you awake at night. Good quality, as I expect from Braun.
Is a very small but effective bedside, alarm clock. Non light omitting clock until you hover over or touch top of clock when the backlight will switch on.Small green icon to show alarm set and switched to on.Is good no annoying backlight until you touch to read the time.
