In fact this blender is pretty top both and I can make very Fine soups (I have not tried it on hard but sir frozen fruit yet but I feel it should 2ork just aswell). The only problem I have is getting it completely clean, especially the detachable blade in the smaller container. Food tend to get stuck in it especially oily soup. I do my washing manually so I have not yet tried a dish washer so hopefully if you do have that try it and leave a review. Oh and do not over fill the small contain cause it may pout out whilst blending.

I bought this handheld blender/whisk/chopper after my large blender cracked. What a joy! No more messy transfers from pan to blender. Also,great to find a reliable and efficient supplier.
Even without an instruction booklet it is easy to work out what goes where & how to operate. Cleaning is easy. Some parts are dishwasher safe, but I prefer to wash all bits by hand. There are a few nooks & crannies that need a brush to get into, but all in all it is a good buy.
Pros: 2 speeds which make blending easier, nice steady slower pace to pulp everything then switch to higher speed to make soups, curry bases or gravy silky smooth.Cons: The model was excellent as it is, but would love a bigger version for when I batch cook and make 5lts of soup to blend.
Product heats up easily and after only 3 uses has stopped working. Very upset and surprised. Don't know how to get a new top part . I cant believe it thought this was a good make and read such good reviews.
Whilst I am pleased with our purchase I did not realise until delivery how small the blender container actually is even though it is clearly stated as 300ml. I have consequently had to buy a large blending jug with two cutters at a similar price to the original purchase. Still it works fine.

This is my second Braun blender - my previous one lasted more than 15 years before I decided to trade it in for a more powerful model.I would have given this 5 stars but for the fact that the chopper didn’t incorporate a ‘storage’ lid at its base, as my previous model had done. This had been a very useful feature for me, and I really miss it on this later model.
