This mixer was an upgrade to our last mixer. It is very powerful but not to much where the food is being flung out of the bowl. It has a really cool dial to adjust the speed. It also has a nice safety feature that if the attachments aren’t in securely it won’t start. It is quiet and well balanced. I am very happy with this overall. It is a massive upgrade to our older model. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new mixer.

The Braun multi mix 5 is a great hand mixer. It has 10 speeds, and even when you have it on the highest setting, it is very quiet. It comes with 2 beaters and 2 dough hooks, you can also get a chopper attachment that we plan on getting very soon. The on/off switch is nice because when you let it go, it stops. You don’t have to worry about any accidents if you are unable to flip the switch for whatever reason.

This is a very good mixer. It has various speed options plus a turbo speed for you to choose from. I really like that the beaters and dough hooks have different shapes; a hexagon and a circle so you will always know which goes on the left or ride side. I like that the weight of the mixer is in the front which helps keep it more in the bowl instead of you having to carry the weight while mixing. It’s not real loud which is a great. The handle has a soft grip that is comfortable in your hand. It’s cleans up easily and comes with a pouch to keep the beaters and hooks in. I am very impressed with this mixer it works very well.

I love this mixer! It works just as well as my heavy duty stand mixer and it doesn’t break my back like my giant stand mixer. The dough attachment is so great and I am able to use this for all of my baking projects. Very easy to clean and the speeds and power of this mixer are just fabulous.
Ive used a cheap hand mixer for years and I didn't realize how terrible it was until I tried the multi mix. The difference in power is remarkable, my old mixer took forever to beat cream and could barely mix the flour much less a dough. the power of the multi mix reminds me more of a stand mixer vs any hand mixers I ever tried. The way the weight is above the mixing bowl your mixing in it feels lighter in the hand and requires less pressure to move it in the bowl. I never thought id have this many things to say about a mixer but this one is awesome
Replaced a 1990 vintage Kitchen Aid hand mixer with the Braun HM 5100WH. The Braun has plenty of power and features the Kitchen Aid lacked: dough hooks, variable speed dial, accessory storage sack. The Kitchen Aid was more balanced, and more stable when set down.

I like this mixer and love the features, especially the chopper accessory. I will say the only thing I don’t like about this mixer is you have to hold the on/off button in the on position while mixing, if you let go it stops. It’s inconvenient while mixing things that take some time, when you could let go and not hold into it. That so far is my only complaint.

Very nice mixer which feels very smooth while it's running, and worked well enough to handle thick cookie dough pretty efficiently. The speed dial is quite nice and it's easy to eject the attachments. It's relatively quiet, though the high pitch of the sound bothers my kids.
