Amazing machine! Had Kenwood hand blender for 3 years until it died so I bought this one as I read so many good reviews and they were all correct. It is a really powerful tool and it blends so well. The best hand blender I ever used. Additional attachments are a great bonus. Attachment for mashed veggie made my mash potato so creamy and this is the first hand blender that made the smoothest smoothies out of frozen fruit. The whole machine looks so flash and the quality is better than I expected. Truly a German quality! Totally recommended!

The product on the packaging says that it can be used for kneading. After 12 months of use, it is giving us trouble, making terrible noise. We have stopped using it but are sure if we use it anymore, the motor will certainly break.Braun (Delonghi) is not taking any responsibility, saying that it is good for mixing and not kneading! If it is to be used for kneading, it has to be done for 30 sec each time with a break of 10 minutes within each run!Bottomline, it is a light hand blender and should be marketed as such (for light work only: cutting and chopping not for kneading)

I purchased this set in April and have used often since.The hand blender has enough power for what I've wanted to do. I especially like the welded seam on the stick blender end - no seal to wear out or get dirty like my old Russell Hobbs stick!Includes a very large selection of add on attachments, those that I've used so far work well.The motor unit has a 'two button' system for safety so you can't run it by accident. This is fine for me, but I imagine it would be impossible to operate one handed if you have bad arthritis or issues with fingers (Best to try in-store if you are worried).So far so good, I'm very happy with this purchase :)
Bought this last month And must say that I am truly impressed with the way that it delivers on its performance this stick mixer not only plans and chops it also slices using the various different attachment. It’s small and compact so that it fits In my kitchen which has limited storage. Best of all I can use it for a multitude of things.It’s not designed to prep food for an army (although I’m sure it can) but it’s a good size for an everyday household.Would be better if there was some sort of housing for all the accessories just is it’s neat but that’s my only negative. Good little machine otherwise !

Unfortunately, this gear box has plastic gears which are poorly aligned and easily get out of alignment. I know this because ours started making a horrible noise even under light load. Harvey Norman have organised a replacement under warranty but let me keep the faulty one. So, of course, I dismantled it to see if it could be fixed. Sadly no. This blender is very good, most blending finishes within 3-5 seconds. We mainly use it to make baby puree for our little one. The device is light compared to other blenders I have used. There are a full range of adapters for every situation. The noise level when on is also quite minimal. To turn it on, the motion is to press down after deactivating the safety switch. Easy to wash as the head and blade is something that can be placed directly into the dishwasher.
If you have room for only one food preparation appliance, then this would be a good choice.The blender part is the outstanding feature with its all-metal construction and variable blade height. It is strong enough to turn ice cubes into snow which is quite useful sometimes.The slicer attachments can save a lot of time and the variable speed control is very useful here.The wire whisk is good but strangely, a dough hook is not supplied.The small grinder attachment cannot match a proper spice grinder but it will do the job.The mashing attachment is a bit useless as it is faster and easier to use a manual masher.Over all I am quite satisfied with this appliance and its build quality.
