I was trying this product on my infant son’s thicker boogers first, and it didn’t work as I was hoping. Then my 6 year old daughter got sick with thin runny boogers. She was able to operate the device and it filled the cup with mucus. This helped her during her peak illness because she normally gets a rash on her cheek from wiping her nose so much. She enjoyed doing it on her own. It was easy to clean, and the parts that touch mucus are dishwasher safe. There are two sizes of nose attachments to make it easy to use for children, or infants. I think this product is a great alternative to a recently popular nose aspirator, if someone does not feel comfortable using their own suction to extract boogers.

This is a good nasal aspirator. We normally use a traditional bulb nasal aspirator and I’ve always had a hard time with it. Not only are they difficult to use but they also have a hard tip to put in the nose. That’s why I find this one by Braun to be much better. There are two tip options and both are a rubberized material that is flexible and soft. It is much easier to insert in the nose and I don’t have to worry about it being a hard material. The aspiration options are battery powered and there are two settings. This helps eliminate the manual suction which is really nice. The whole process is much quicker and efficient compared to the manual bulb. The top compartment is easy to remove and clean too. Overall a much smoother process to clear babies nose.

I was super skeptical about it since I do own the frida as well and that one is an okay but try to pin down a wiggly unhappy baby. They have the strength of a grown man. When I first tried this it didn’t work and I was annoyed but luckily I had spare batteries on hand and that did the trick. So fair warning the batteries that come with the product might be DOA. Make sure you have 2 AAs on hand so you can use this when you get it. There is also this strange blue tab near the battery compartment. I am not sure what it’s for. I tried removing it but it didn’t come out easily and the device works with it attached so I figured I should leave it alone. I didn’t see anything about what to do with it in the instructions.
