2 pin plug need adapter

Arrived in the post today and to my disappointment it has 2 pin charger! I now have to purchase a plug adapter to enable me to charge it before I can use the toothbrush. I know hotels and some houses have 2 pin plug points in there bathroom but that is just not the norm in uk households so extremely disappointed with this backdated feature. Useless for the average consumer. Nowhere does it state on the packaging that its 2 pin, this should be clearly shown so that if needed can purchase the adapter at the same time. I now have to wait for another delivery before I can use it, very frustrating! Can’t even review the toothbrush because I can’t use it. Travel case seems really cheaply made white plastic though. Glad I got this in the sale it’s very lacking

I have used Oral B electric toothbrushes for many years and this is definitely not the quality I would have expected. This electric Oral B Pro 3- 3500 vibrated so much it caused a lot of discomfort in my arm. Changing from one mode to another was also very tricky and not at all like previous Oral B electric toothbrushes I have used. I returned this and purchased another Oral B electric toothbrush. The toothbrush in the box did not match the description on the box. The model number on it's base indicated a one mode which is all I could get it to do although the box indicated 3 modes. Very disappointing Oral B. You can do better than this!!!

There is a rubberised bit on and around the power button where you place your thumb and I find this keeps the brush nice and secure for me.Very happy with how it looks- exactly like in pictures. You just have to make sure you do clean it after each use so no visible white toothpaste marks are left.As a new electric toothbrush user found the set up very easy and clear. Overall, super happy, glad I took the plunge to switch!

Not Impressed!
29 August 2024

This is the worst electric toothbrush I have ever owned! I usually use a Colgate Omron electric tooth brush which broke and which was infinitely better! However, this Oral B brush was on offer so bought it. Very disappointed with it. For starters, I have to keep charging it every couple of days! The red light that keeps flashing when brushing your teeth is very annoying - it is not clear whether it is indicating that you are brushing too hard, or that it needs charging - but I’ve not known it to never stop flashing so still unsure. I charged it on Tuesday this week, went to use it this morning (Thursday) and nothing happened! Needs charging yet again - I’m charging it every couple of days or so. I expected more from Oral B, especially as it wasn’t the cheapest brush ...Ā MoreThis is the worst electric toothbrush I have ever owned! Not sold with UK plug fitting
28 February 2024

Buyers beware if you are buying this product as a sale item. I was sent a travel edition version of this toothbrush which is fitted with an EU not UK plug.Luckily I had the adapter from my previous toothbrush to use otherwise I would have sent it back. The product description did not say it is fitted with a European plug. This is a breach of The Consumer Act 2015 as the goods were not sold as described. The photo advertising this product does not show the travel edition label either. The toothbrush itself is a good product, and at the sale price is good value for money. But not if you cannot plug it in to recharge it!

Reliable Oral B
4 September 2024

This is about the 4th Oral B electric toothbrush I have owned which in itself says a lot. Easy to use, long life before the internal battery starts to struggle with recharging. Pressure guide is great, especially for my partner who was not using enough pressure and now has worked out the correct pressure. Unlike our last couple of units (one of which is still okay battery wise so is used as a permanent travel unit) this one no longer has the horrible rubber coating which over time cracks and breaks off. Speaking of travel, the case is great holding the unit and 2 brush heads. The only reason I have given 4 stars is cosmetic; a black unit and black heads available but the charging unit is still white!

Review of ORAL B Pro 3 3500 Electric Toothbrush - Pink
12 January 2024

Bought to replace a basic Oral B basic electric toothbrush which had finally given up the ghost after over 10 years. This model has 3 cleaning modes; standard > gentle > whitening.Note: To switch off you have to press the button 3 times as it cycles through the 2 other modes first.Battery life is a huge improvement on the old one at around 18 days before needing to recharge. You will need to buy an adapter to charge using a standard UK 3 pin plug socket, unless like me you already have one from an old model. This Pro 3 model also came with a nice travel case.Hope it lasts as long as the old one!

So good I bought another one!
24 March 2024

This is quite simply the best toothbrush I’ve ever had. I bought a second one for my boyfriend too (I was lucky enough to have them both on offer). I used to have a Philips Sonicare years ago but stopped using it as it felt like it was rattling the bones in my head! I really didn’t like the sensation I felt in my teeth with it, which put me off electric toothbrushes for years. However, this has restored my faith and then some! I love that it has different settings (I use the more gentle one as my teeth tend to be on the sensitive side). I also love the clean feeling it give, just like it feels after a trip to the dentist. The biggest compliment that I can give it is that I would dread the task of brushing my teeth but now I don’t mind it in the slightest!

Squeaky clean teeth
12 March 2024

I went to the dentist and was so scared all my teeth were gonna fall out lol so invested in an electric toothbrush. At first, I was but a dubious hater with an agenda against electric toothbrushes HOWEVER … After a few uses I’m an electric toothbrush convert ! Never have my teeth felt so literally squeaky clean (yes, they squeaked) and at such a massively discounted price (let’s be serious Oral B, no one is paying Ā£100 for a toothbrush !) it feels like such a steal it would’ve been an insult to myself to have not bought it. May there be better electric toothbrushes out there ? Probably but, if you’re also worrying all your teeth will just randomly fall out and NEED to buy an electric toothbrush to quieten those thoughts, this might be the one for you. Oh, she’s also quite loud but there’s a handy little 30 seconds timer that vibrates to let you know when to brush a new quarter of your mouth which makes up for that !

Very noisy!
17 June 2024

Very happy with how well this tooth brush cleans my teeth. Wasn't expecting it to be so good, but I can see why dentists recommend them now. It only takes 2 minutes (the brush vibrates to let you know) and you feel like you've had a visit to the hygienist. It uses hardly any toothpaste - put more on and it just flings it off! I've found out more expensive models have an off button, saving you from having to scroll through the different settings, but is that worth an extra £100+? The battery lasts about 10 days before having to recharge. The one negative comment as that the toothbrush is EXTREMELY noisy. To say it sounds like a power drill isn't an exaggeration last thing it night!
