bought 30B 09.2020, foil broken left and right, now is 05.2022. I don't even shave everyday, normally every 2-3 days so very light use. Last purchase of 30B lasted 5 years of light use once every 2-3 days and was good. Have been use Braun for 30 years and this time is a disappointment. The quality has certainly gone down, at least for replacement part.

This is probably the tenth replacement cutter that I have purchased. By replacing the cutter when it gets dull I end up with what is essentially a new razor.I have been using Braun products since I worked for the importer (Gillette) in the 70'sI have tried other electric shavers but i will keep using Braun. They support their products until the very last one in the marketplace is no longer being used.And Wakmart had the very best price on the replacement parts.

Still using my 7050 razor. Seems like it has been in service for well over 10 years. Recently replaced batteries for the third time and also purchased the foil and cut block. Purchased another Braun model some time ago and it did not come close to the quality shave this razor provides. For about $20 my razor is new again. If I could not solder in new batteries I would still buy the foil and block and use this razor with a cord!

I have had my Braun shaver for a number of years, finding it very comfortable to use. I have used Shaver Shop a couple of times to obtain replacements and have found their on-line ordering efficient, and their service very quick, providing my order within days even though I still live in a rural areas far away from the larger urban areas.
the newer designed oscillating blades are spaced further apart and work better than the original Series heads. Those off brand heads from China do not work due to poor machining of the oscillating head and thus you do not get a close shave.
I have a Braun 7015 and this is the 4th foil I have fitted in about 14 years. I can certainly feel the smoothness and closeness of shave since replacement - works really well. My previous foil was a cheap Chinese one with my old cutter that was working fine (for about 12 months) until the mounts for the centre stubble trimmer broke. The Chinese one worked, but never as well as this genuine set. Using Shaver Guard to clean and lubricate certainly makes for a smoother shave too.
I bought my 2 Braun 7505 shavers over a dozen years ago. Made in Germany, they still work great or like NEW, IF you replace the foil & cutter every 12-18 months. So far, I've been able to find brand new cutters & foils over eBay, while almost all local stores do not carry the replacements. The plastic packaging was a little damage, but they work great. Should have bought more replacements. As long as they are made in Germany, the replacement foil & cutters come highly recommended.
So I have to admit, it had been years since I replaced the foil & blade set on my Braun razor. I had to make multiple passes at getting a clean shave and battery life was decreasing. I figured I'd be replacing the whole unit sooner than later and didn't want to invest anything into it. However, the razor was a gift and I didn't want to just toss it, so I gave in and bought the replacement foil and blade set. WOW! It was like getting a new razor! I could hear the difference - it was running faster. (I'm assuming there must've been friction between the old foil and blade causing it slow down). With the new blade the cut is much cleaner and definitely provides smoother results. I was also surprised to find it's now over 3 weeks since needing a charge.
