I absolutely love the Braun silk-epil 9! It is the perfect device, it’s easy to handle, work wet or dry and is very effective. I’ve been a fan of epilating for about 12 months (bare with it, it hurts first time but get less and less every time!) and now my hairs are much thinner but this epilator still manages to get them even when they are short. I love that it works in the bath or shower because it is so much more comfortable epilating wet legs. The head is great and gets all the tricky areas like around the ankles etc. I’m happy it also comes with a shaver head for sensitive areas that I am nowhere near brave enough to epilate! This was easy to use, the booklet also recommended using the massage roller cap for comfort which really helped. The red warning light is great to as it tells you when you are applying to much pressure. There is also gentle mode which I found to be bestsuited to my skin. I preferred to use this when my skin was wet as I feel it gave me better results and minimised discomfort. Overall I'm really impressed with my results I compared between shaving with a razor and epilation and as a result I experienced less ingrown hairs and slower regrowth as pictured. This electric shaver is pretty intense. The first point of contact I had wasn’t pleasant at all, I thought it was tearing up my skin, when actually it was mimicking waxing! My underarms are too sensitive to try the waxing motion, but using the second head provided did a close enough job. I think if I can build up the tolerance this device will do wonders. My husband was more willing to be the Guinea pig and in the video I posted it shows just how well this works! His skin was sooo smooth from where he shaved. Another interesting thing is if you put this to your skin that has n hair, it doesn’t hurt at all. The battery life is great so far and it’s comfortable to hold. I like that this is a wet/dry device too.
